i have to appear in css 2012. i have opted arabic as well and know little about that. i need some book which provides the ery basics of arabic. someone suggested me al zayyats book. he might have seen it from your post. well if it is the book to start with, can u kindly tell me its title and the publisher as i havnt found it at local book stores.

You may contact Hafiz Arshad for css notes on arabic. His notes are mostly used for css preparation. He also takes css classes in Lahore. Furthur, he will guide you about arabic books to be used for preparation.
His contact No. is 0333-4103614 By the way, Tarikhul Adabul Arabic by Ahmad Hassan Zayyat is a good book.

Thank you very much for the info. I am interested in attending the crash programme but it seems unfeasible keeping in view my predicament of switihing subjects at this hour and then living at Isb too. However, I would still like to get your feedback about the notes and other preparatory material you get from the teacher concerned. And if its worth having, I may order the same. So kindly apprise me of the quality of notes asap.
