dear aspirants of css 2012,
I am going to mention those topics which most likely in css 2012 according to the past papers of Arabic.Hope aspirants will get some help from these topics in forthcoming exame.
PRE-ISLAMIC ERA:
From pre-islamic era one question come in paper 1 and one in paper 2.
1: CONDITION OF ARAB BEFORE ADVENT OF ISLAM.
2: CHARACTERISTICS OF PRE-ISLAMIC POETRY.
3:AL-NAQAD AL ADABI.
4:ARAB MARKETS(ASHWAKS).
5:ZAHIR-BIN-SALMA .
6:HASAN-BIN-TABIT.

From adab-i-mahjar:
1:UMER-ABU-RISHA.
2:KHALIL_JIBRAN.
3:CHARACTERISTCES OF ADAB-I-MAHJAR(SHUMALI-JUNUBI).

QURAN:
1:IMPOARTANCS OF QURRAN IN UNDERSTANDING OF ARABIC LITERATURE.
2:LITERARY IMPACT OF QURRAN IN SUBSEQUENT LITERATURE.

UMMAYAD ERA:
1:POETRY OF UMMAYAD ERA.
2:NAQIZZA-KHUMRIYAT-MADAH-RIJZ-UZRI GHAZAL.

ABASSI ERA:
1:AL-JAHIZ.
2:ABU-RISHA.
3:IBNI-KHALDOON.
3:POETRY ASPECTS IN ABASSI ERA.

PAPER 2:
1:PRE-ISLAMIC ERA(as i mentioned it).
2:TAHA-HUSSEIN.
TAUFEEQ-AL-HAKIM.
3:AHMAD SHOQI.
4:ABAS MEHMOOD AL-AQAD.


OTHER ARE :
1:ABNI-MANZOOR.
2:GHULAM ALI BELGARAMI.
3:ABU NAWAS.
4:UMRUL QAIS.
5:NAJIB-MEHFOOZ.
6:IBI-KHALDON.
7:LABEED-BIN-RABIYA.

Dear all aspirants as we know that from every era one question come in paper so i differently mentioned these so that aspirants get help from it.It is also mentioned by our senior member(REDMIX) to the aspirants as well.

I mean in Paper 2 the poetic verses is selected from which poet.

Basically four poets are there.
Imrul Qais
Zohair bin Abi Salma
Hazrat Hassan bin Thabit.
Fourth is I think Labeed bin Rabia.
These all are in syllabus.
However , the pattern of paper is in this way that if only first two are prepared , the paper can be attempted.
So , if Imrul Qais and Zohair are prepared , translation Portion is attempted easily.

3:characteristces of adab-i-mahjar(shumali-junubi).
There were some other personalities of mahjar such as
mekhael naeema
ailiya abu mazi ete
impacts of muhjari poets on the subsequent arabic literature
names of the books written by mahjari poets are also important for mcqs

quran:
1:impoartancs of qurran in understanding of arabic literature.
2:literary impact of qurran in subsequent literature.
The most important topic on quran is "the language of quran"

ummayad era:
1:poetry of ummayad era.
2:naqizza-khumriyat-madah-rijz-uzri ghazal.
Most important in this era is ghazal and rijz

abassi era:
1:al-jahiz.
2:abu-risha.
3:ibni-khaldoon.
3:poetry aspects in abassi era.
Salient feature, prose and other style of writing in arabic
ibn majha and alberoni
khumriyat as a whole (i.e ummayads, abbasides etc)

paper 2:
1:pre-islamic era(as i mentioned it).
2:taha-hussein.
Taufeeq-al-hakim.
3:ahmad shoqi.
4:abas mehmood al-aqad.
Modrn arabic literature/ literry trends i.e drama, short essay etc


other are :
1:abni-manzoor.
2:ghulam ali belgarami.
3:abu nawas.
4:umrul qais.
5:najib-mehfooz.
6:ibi-khaldon.
7:labeed-bin-rabiya.
