Default How to get 80+ marks ?

I got 61 in Geo-I and 63 in Geo-II (total =124 in 2012). I have seen people getting 80+ marks in these papers.

Please guide me what am I missing? How can I fetch a score of 80+ in paper I and II?

Brother for the start I studied Bajwa book as its language is simpler and is more or less arranged for the CSS candidates. After that I thoroughly studied Deblij book. Bajwa is also more or less copy of Deblij so it wasn't so big deal for me to study the original Deblij book.

Once I was done with that, I made my own notes for Physical Geography.
To score good clear your basic concepts and draw beautiful diagrams on the paper.

For paper II I studied Human Geography by Deblij, Exam Cram series, newspapers, word times and referred to different sources from the internet.
This paper is much easier as it is open ended. In most of the questions you will be required to give your views about a particular topic.
Relevant facts, maps and diagrams are unwanted but MUST requirements for getting a good score in Geography II paper.Make your own notes by consulting questions from the past papers.

After all this, I was not able to get my score higher than 124. People do get 80 marks in Geo I and 70 + in Geo II. So, that must be the target of every candidate.

Well Geography-II is not scientific in nature. Its a combination of theory, current affairs and sociology so you can never be sure about its score.

On the contrary, Psychology is a very easy and scoring subject. While I got 124 in Geography with the best effort, a little effort in Psychology brought me 140 marks. Rise and fall of score also depends on how you attempt the paper but I felt that Psychology was much closer to our lives. We can easily correlate behaviour of people around us to the theory in the books. I not only found it interesting but very beneficial in case of its pragmatic application.
