Default Mediterranean climate
Mediterranean climate (Cs)


Introduction:
typical of the lands in the Mediterranean Basin, and is a particular variety of subtropical climate.
Under the Köppen climate classification, "dry-summer subtropical" climates (classified as Csa and Csb) are often referred to as "Mediterranean"

Characteristics:
(1) warm to hot, dry summers and mild to cool, wet winters
(2) five large subtropical high pressure cells of the oceans
(3) Rainfall: 16"-25" (4 to 6 months during the summer without having any significant precipitation)
(4) Soil Terra Rossa
(5) Temperature: inter and summer temperatures can vary greatly between different regions
(6) Natural vegetation: Evergreen trees,Deciduous trees, Fruit trees, Shrubs, Sub-shrubs, Grasses, Herbs
