Default Journalism Preparation Plan

Dear Fellows!
I have planned to prepare for journalism in a week or so.I thought it would be better to share my plan with other fellows to have more guidance and for the sake of other aspirants' help. I beleive it would work for anyone who has clear intentions to follow it.

BOOKS:
1.Towards Journalism (Emporium Publishers)
2.Journalism for All (Dr. Mehdi Hassan)
3.Mass Communication(Imtiaz Shahid)

For Subjective Portion:
1.Try to solve 10 years past papers' objective
2.Exam cram series book

Important Note:
While preparing for journalism apply it anywhere around you(For example if You are preparing for communication ....consider examples from your enviornment like communication between you and your family, between friends between birds or similar type of examples which can clear the concept of the subject. This single technique can retain information in your memory forever.(azmooda nuskha ha)

DAY 1 Plan:
Main Focus: Communication and communication process
Topics to be covered:
1)What is communication?(Introduction)
2)Define Communication(atleast 5 different definitons...which you can quote in paper in any relevent topic)
3)Process of communication(With diagram...)
3.1: Elements of communication process
3.2: Barriors of communication
4)what is effective communication?
4.1:Essentials of effective communication
5)Communication theories and their construction(should be slightly covered)
5.1 Cognitive resonance

Wish you very best of luck.
Regards

@Israr
I would share it tomorrow Inshallah.Infact i am pasting the plans regarding preparation after implementation...so that i can share real practice as It would be more easy for me to guide and for you people to follow after actual practice.
I could not share it as i was stuck in a difficult situation and could not find time for studies. So implementation is late as well as plan. Moreover, eid masrofiat is there to interupt.
Sorry for being late! dear fellows

Dear,

Nice effort....i have taken CSS-2011....before starting jounalism i would like to suggest that kindly go thru CE-2011 jounalism paper....cz its pattern is changed from past 20 years paper....

n a typical jounalism pattern for i.e:

1 question from communication
1 question from news
1 question from PRO
1 question advertisement...

...this has been changed....FPSC has tried to changed the typical mindset of CSS aspirants...

same was the case with objectives....the objectives for last 15 years are same n of CE-2011 journalism is quite different...

what i would like to suggest that try to expand ur circle of study n approach...just a sincere suggestion...the choice is yours.....

keep me in prayerss...

@chaudhary Ali
Thanks dear for being concerned.I too appeared in 2011 with the same optional and you are right it was more analytical than previous papers. In my personal opinion FPSC is forcing aspirants to become more analytical more critical and more importantly their mission is to make us think about our surroundings.Papers are becoming more and more challanging and off course we,being aspirants, have to broaden our visions.
yes we can't expect typical paper but with the little amendments and additions an aspirant can attempt the paper, provided with he\she prepared well the course outline.

Baki Allah Malik ha

Regards & Best wishes
