Effective Communication?
Dear Brilliant Minds,
I have a confusion about what can we call as Effective Communication. Need to answer it. Does Effective Communication mean getting your idea explained properly to the intended idea/make him or her understand your point of view Or does it mean to get a desired effect? Let me clarify it with an example: Suppose I want to sell a product to a customer. I explain him or her all the benefits that specific product can give to the customer and he/she gets it completely (Is this effective communication?). He/she intends to buy the product(Is this the effective communication part?). I mean to say if he/she fully understands the benefits a specific product may offer but doesnt intend to buy it then will my communication be effective? Thank you very much in anticipation. |
