Robert Fieldman Tenth edition Understanding Psychology. Apart from that book i take help from net and self study mostly... R. Fieldman help you in understanding the basis of Psychology, once you go through of that book you can understand Psychology quite easily.

I am in peshawar and also want to study in group for this subject.
But the thing is that i may not be available full-time.
reason is my 9 to 6 job and i can manger only few hours for study after hectic job day.

i think the thread was started for discussing various topics.but you guys have started posting your location and other stuff.....kindly discuss topics or queries related to psychology....not your plans as in when to appear for css etc.....hope my thread doesnt hurt anyone.........
Now coming Back to the topic....
for psychology feldmen's book is the best but for additional topics you could refer to VU notes or study from internet....secondly do go through the previous paper repeated questions....it will give you an idea of the paper....search "Repeated Questions of psychology" by roshan wadhwani in the search tab.....

i would suggest you people to start with learning topic.cover the various angles of questions (after checking the previous repeated questions)
after learning go for motivation then personality followed by various theories ,nervous system and then social psychology....

i would suggest you guys to prepare 5 or 6 main topics from all angles (again ull understand my point after checking the previous papers....)..try to give more n more daily life examples....think on your own....

adopt the same strategy for paper-2 i.e select 6-7 main topics like disorders,therapies, development/maturation, etc...dot try to cover the qhole syllabus as its very lengthy n will take loads of time...

this is my personal opinion for preparation...others may disagree...hope this will help you out.....
