Lightbulb Will Psychology be scoring in the coming year?

Will Psychology be scoring in the coming years, as it has been observed that subjects which were high scoring such as British History and Geography have been hit hard this year. And psychology gave way too much score this year and the last year. Can we expect a difficult exam or targeting by the examiner in ce-2013 or 14. I know there is no certain rule or criteria but suggestions and recommendations will be help.

Asslaam o Alaikum,

Science subjects can never be low scoring but yes, paper can be tricky

See,Geo paper was very tricky but those who attempted well have scored well.
So if you can prepare it well then no need to worry.
Just read thoroughly not selective.

Good luck.

No one can pridict the behaviour of FPSC. What if they give one or more chances to psychology. In my view point, fpsc favours those subjects which are practicaly applicable. There are some example, sociology give us very good idea of society, journalism give us clear view of journalism, international law keep abreast us with prevailing int. Laws and so on. So one must not pridict regarding anything if he/she does not knw. Well one thing is sky clear that papers are being generalized. Cramming is less required to pass the papers and the pivotal role is being played by analysis.

Well i think its good that people are concerned about their subject selection that shows seriousness of a candidate but its time that we should end this debate of scoring and low scoring, study hard and gain knowledge try to differentiate your exam through reading different books and approaches, so even if it is targeted you will be safe. There are ample resources available on Internet and so many books on-line already shared by members on this forum. Applied Maths has the highest rate of failure in css but still people who work hard and cover the syllabus well score 160+. Please its time to move and study and instead we should be asking questions regarding the syllabus flow charts diagrams etc.

Question chances for a subject being grilled twice in the existing and subsequent year!!

hello to all of my seniors and fellows. i am also thinking to opt psychology as optionals in 2013. but my query is regarding the fact that whenever a specific subject is grilled,... does it remain low scoring just as for that very year??? ya phir subsequent year would also contain the equal chances for it being grilled again??

well this question is very difficult to be answered as FPSC knows which subject to target in a specific year but you can analyse yourself, if you are asking as regards Psychology then it has been scoring for last three years, keeping in view the huge number of students opting this subject, chances are there that it might become the victim of the wreath of FPSC and so will you guys be ipso facto... but i think if one has no other choice for 200 marks subject then Psychology is a better option as it will give marks in the range of 120-30 if and only if FPSC decides to charge that subject and that marks my firends will be equal to good scores one can get in History or other such subjects...so keep fingers crossed, that's all you can do
