Poetry in Punjabi (How do they do it?)
Hello, I have read the syllabus and seen past papers. The questions are about the meaning and analysis of a poem of any poet and you are supposed to add 10 shair in a question.
But it is recommended that one should cram each poem, lets say from classical poetry. I checked and there are at least 150 verses in a poem...saif ul malook has 500 verses. Are you supposed to remember each poetry by heart? Or just understand the meaning of verses and make a concept of poem and describe it in your own words? |

I don't think we are supposed to go through the entire poetry of each poet. Since there will only be a limited aspects to every poet's poetry, we'll just have to remember few lines for each aspect and quote them in.
Correct me if I'm wrong |
