Question punjabi can be attempt in urdu
MY respected seniors....

kya punjabi k paper ko urdu main attemp kya ja skta hai??

Is it allowed or not allowed??

Dear, Papers of all regional languages need to be attempted in those particular languages writing except if there is some question asking for translation of paragraph in regional language to Urdu etc or translation of verses. Same is required for Punjabi paper. All the questions of Punjabi paper are required to be attempted in Punjabi writing only otherwise it will become an Urdu paper. However, some portion of Arabic paper may be attempted in Urdu.

but mai ne previous papers chek kye hain wo to punjabi ko english wording mai likha gya hai ....mean Roman wording k sath likha gya hai ...punjabi to koi ni use ki gi???

If you are talking about script (Rism-ul-khat), Punabi's script is Urdu. You can attempt Punjabi in Urdu script not in roman urdu.

What I have been able to make out of your query is that you are talking about punjabi papers posted on this forum. As it is difficult to write punjabi script while posting something on the forum, therefore members feel it easy to translate the punjabi wording into roman urdu. The main purpose remains to post the paper which could be correctly read and interpreted by others. However, you may find papers of some years posted in Punjabi script (scanned copies). e.g CSS 2011 Punjabi Papers.

can u recommend me books for punjabi which cover all syllabus. Which books did u consult for punjabi and wat wud u recommend for people having not study punjabi at academic level ?

Most of the candidates opting CSS Punjabi usually don't have any previous background in Punjabi. So this is not a matter of much concern.
