Thumbs down research design@RedBone

well dear,
survey method will be used and further interview schedule should be the tool of data collection. its a sensitive issue people may not respond completely to questioneer if served directly. questioneer should contain both open ended as well as closed ended questions in order to collect both qualitative as well as quantitative data respectivly.

regards

Arrow sorry for delayed reply

dear fellows i,m sorry for delayed reply, ifact 19th feb was my intrerview. anyway have ur questions answered

@RedBone

dear open ended questions are open for a narrative response from the subject. for example

Q. what do u think about smoking?

ans.______________________________________________ __

we get opinions and suggestions and veried responses in return. this kind of data is qualitative data. it can not be statistically tested. you have to compare and analyse differrent opinions while interpreting results.

while closed ended questions are with given options. respondent has to tick mark one of the given options. for example

Q. what do you think about smoking?

1. very good for health

2. good for health

3. bad for health

4. very bad for health

5. undecided

in response we get quantitative data as we write for example

80% consider it very bad for health

10% consider it bad for health

4% consider it good for health

1% consider it very good for health

5% stay undecided

this response can be tabulized as well as tested, statistically. so this data is quantitative data.

@waseem gurmani

dear waseem
answer should be theoratical and clearly defined in the begining paragragh then explain it with maximum relevant details. add as much exaples from our own society as u can or time allows. its highly appriciated when one goes with real exaples.

regards

fellow plz pray for my success in css 2008.
i shall remain available to you always INSHA_ALLAH
