any experienced professor will be in better position to clarify the ambiguity. in my opinion even in first person in context of this particular paragraph should be acceptable as it conveys the meaning clearly.

Alhamdulillah, I've at least 30 marks with 12 confirm vocab, not considering precis, comp, translation... hope to cross the threshold in 3 questions as they went fine...

one of my teacher asked me about 2 twists in precis after the paper and those 2 twists were excessive use of 1st person and examples... He who avoided both of them will get maximum credit (with impeccable english) and whosoever fell victim to anyone of them will be penalized accordingly... this what he said
