seniors...

in the comprehension part the question is "make the precise and a suitable heading" by precise they mean the summary of the passage???

usman khalid Saturday, July 16, 2011 08:48 PM

Precis is a short form/summary of the passage. Its length may vary as 1/3rd, 1/4th etc of the original passage. However, for CSS, it is supposed to be of 1/3rd length of the original passage.

You need to make separate sentence for each word.
Wet: Wet drops look beautiful in sunshine.

You have used 2nd or 3rd form instead of 1st form in following cases: Sentence # 1 (got instead of get, broke instead of break)
Sentence # 2 (saw instead of see)
Sentence # 3 (forgot instead of forget)

Refer to Sentence # 1. The correct expression would be: ‘He had lost his key so he had to break…..’ (Don’t use ‘been’ when the sentence is in active voice.)

Refer to Sentence # 2. The correct expression would be: ‘or I was more interested in the garden.’ (When reporting verb (asked) is in past tense, reporting verb (which should be 'was' in this case instead of 'is') will also be in past tense.)
