Dawn Newspaper, Jahangir world times and international journals are sufficient. You can also go through Encyclopaedia of GK published by JBD press. Reading reports of International crises Group will also help. You will find many of these terms within those reports.

SALAM! I want to know that last couple of weeks someone post a thread that now for appearing in CSS preliminary test will be taken in which candidates having masters degree will be allowed to sit in this test is it true?and second query i would like to ask that i have done pharm-D(doctor of medicine)can fulfill this criteria?

@ Z.BOKHARI
i think for organizations one should consult notes? and rest all can be covered by
reading newspapers and journals, or one needs to consult notes again for 'rest' as well?

Yes you can consult notes to have a know how of organizations but again you have to keep in touch with the latest news related to the organizations because you have to answer questions from current perspective. Same is the case with rest of the topics. You may consult notes to understand the origin and background of the issues but bacause you have to answer questions from current perspective, newspapers are far helpful than notes.
