ITs proved now, ratafication can't work for candidates now.. Fairly typical paper, but not that much difficult.

After seen the paper, One should have Command over Current Affairs and International Situations:)

On paper, it was mentioned that the essay has to be of 2500-3500 words. Whereas, the seniors who normally say that it should be of 1500-2000 words. Is there a policy change this year or the same thing (2500-3500 words) is written on paper every year?

All guess paper fails from the rectangle of this paper.... Very muddle paper
I attempt the 7th one

if i were to attempt this paper, i would have chosen topic#7 "great countries win with out fighting"

dear, would you please share your outline regarding the essay you attempted?

the Attempt requires absolute comprehension. A great reading , thinking , observation and writing practice can satiate the requirement of the essay. Superficial knowledge of every topics is unable to work here and only practical approach to the topic and paradigm understanding of the topic works successfully. indeed it comes from vast knowledge and analytical ability.

Topic# 7 and 10 are looking nice to eyes:)

Not so easy paper... compare to past papers..... "tricky"

Indeed a tricky one...i dont see an essay solely from point of having content...these are mostly current affairs topics and problem with such topics is that one knows about background and current information about such topics but people forget that it is an essay paper and approaching and navigating essay paper is different from how you approach current affairs...i being a person who has a knack for such topics knows how tricky they become..last year i attempted THERE should be limit to free speech and passed my exam but trick is to attempt an essay paper like an essay paper.. these topics when viewed superficialy seem easy but beneath that veneer lies a great and ardous undertaking..so not an easy paper and Essay will live up to its reputation of being MONSTER#1..watch out for the result.

Fpsc has adopted the policy to shock the students as it did in 2013 result, meanwhile the very first paper seems heart breaking.......

exactly that is totally a current affair paper

Its not an easy paper. Days are gone when easy topics came in the Essay paper. One has to study thoroughly before attempting Essay Paper

A very difficult paper indeed. I will second raz that it is no more the exam of crammers. :nono

one of the most difficult papers ever in history of css..... only die hard aspirant of css can surpass such tricky paper....

But, many crammers have already been rewarded for their mugging capability. FPSC must think of being fair to every one. Besides,the mediocre winners/crammers have acquired the stature of supercilious opinion leaders/ prophets of css exams prep who not only stifle any critical thought about their mediocrity and fluke success, but, also mislead to gullible young minds. Any suggestions for those gullible people who are betrayed by academies into a delusion that css is a piece of a cake and the essay just a trickery of cut-paste materiel? How should they prepare for critical essays?

Attempted topic 7 and wrote about 2300 words. Length is ok or not?

Paper went good indeed..... I attempted number ten...... Violence related..... Abt half time i spent on outline and half on essay :) but satisfied with paper..... Alhamdulillah..... Fpsc is changing the pattern.... Nd the revolution strted when answer sheets were provided... Bkz that were lining sheets... Trend of blank sheets changed..... ;)

We were presented lined answer sheets with 30 lines per page and aspirants were struggling to write more than 15 to 16 pages. Moreover invigilators stopped everyone from leaving any line blank. Bye bye sheet wasters.
