here is my precis please check it and comment
precis; Education and morality The contemporary man should discover use of intelligence for service of love and kindness. The human training should include empathic capacity development. By this way social morality and chances of survival can increase. It is challenge for educators and educational institutions to train morally. Traditionally religion was custodian of social morality. But their failure resulted in God is dead theological rheoteric. The powerful men believe machiavellianism in their decision; power is morality, morality is power which increases the chance of nuclear devastation. We hope educators have capacity, commitment and time to instill morality in human intelligence. Ways must be found in human training to give assurance to love, security to be kind and integrity for functional empathy |

Although these were the key words,yet there should have been an expression connecting these two! Stil,it's ok Best of luck
[/B] Institutionalizing Morality is a thing far-fetched,as it would otherwise mean to induce morality in institutions,rather than creating institutional framework,based on morality or rather than devising any instrumentality,by the institutions to utilize human intelligence for societal welfare.......So,this confusion arose because your title was too short to imply any specific meaning.Anyways,hope the examiner understands the right meaning you wanted to express with the few words in your title. |

Oxford advanced defines the word "institutionalize" as, "to make sth become part of an organized system, society or culture, so that it is considered normal". From above definition "institutionalizing morality" means making morality teaching a part of institutions in organized way. This means I am right. I think main theme of passage was morality teaching all the rest was supporting points. Since Religion has failed in teaching morality, it was the duty of modern institutions to induce morality in members of society otherwise excessive materialism will annihilate present civilization.

I didn't disagree with what you intended to write: I thought of it in another sense,given the generalization in your title.But indeed,it was a very adeptly conceived of .....
Am surprised why no one has passed any kinda remarks(gud/bad) on my title(aforesaid).......And it's me who has been doing all the job for everyone :d |
