We are more prone to follow American agenda, letting their forces to enter in our territory to kill our innocent people in the name of terrorists despite that their candidates are no less vocal to threaten to attack on Pakistan brassily. But we are still stick to their so called anti terror war. How can we extricate ourselves from being involved in American thought of School?

I think our Govt. has made our country more vulnerable to suicide attack by contributing in the American interest war. We should have maintained our sovereignty by refraining to become a part of collation of American Forces. We have far more relied on dishonest friend.

I think my friends are becomign hard over american becasue of its policies toward mulsuim after septemeber 11 but its not the first time america is doing so .After world war 2 ,whole euorpe was demolished by their war and many countries went out of the mainstreem leading line ,Like britian and only two countries came on the leading point .The america and soviat union and we as a young nation went to support america because india was being supported by soveit union. then the relation went on and is completing its complectated old spouse relation in this era.Now the wolrd is one polar.There is one super power ,the USA .though many musluim writers think that USA as a nation is going to vanish in coming twenty years as china and india are emerging but who knows about future . So We as a paksitani nation are compel like any other nation in the world to be loyal to US policies and if we wont then USA will behave like USA .but do not think the common american thinks as the estabilshment do so there is no need to support terrorisim even .Just see the history and its turns

the simple way to ged rid o f uncle sam is that have set by the iran... if america stare them once they stare them twice.that the right way to keep the America in his limit. we have the power ,, we have force,, we can make missile which can hit the new york city,, then why we r threating from america. why we r bearing Bark Obama's "Bakwas".
our government should behave just like Ahmadi Nazar.. because this is the right way to do this..
At this time,, America can't take major action against pakistan,, because on our back side,, the gigantic china is there..

we cannot isolate ourselves from the US completely in today's world of globalization. But, our country should strive for making itself independent of the US influence; for example, despite some friction between the US and Russia alongwith China, they all are engaged in trade and economic activities. Why? because in today's world, completely quitting relation with a superpower means effects upon one's own national interests.



ANS: Why are we prone to American hardline threats?

1. We have committed our foreign policy with the US "War on Terrorism".

2. We are taking their dollars in the form of aid; the biggest factor for forbearing all American interventions.

3. We are hungry for their F16s; their technologically advanced weapons; their alliance to counter the power balance with India.

4. The US is the major arms supplier of Pakistan.

5. A significant shift in relation from the US will harm overall interest of Pakistan in the World.


ANS: In order to prevent such happening, if not immediately but in the future, then we must do some endeavors to make us independent:

1. To remove all differences with India; the only factor for (a) spending a major chunk of our budget on defense; (b) acting as a pawn of the in order to acquire F16s, weapons etc. (c) forming a closest alliance with the US.

2. To spend out resources for the betterment of our people; that is to improve the human resource better education, to improve the quality of life by providing all the basic facilities like Health, Infrastructure etc.

3. After removing differences with India, enhancing the role of SAARC on the line of the European Union and ASEAN; in order to utilize the resources of the whole region in the best interests of south Asian people and in this way minimizing any foreign nation like the US interference not only in Pakistan's affairs but also others.

Look we cannot strike on the US and if so -- May God forbid -- happens, then we are going to devastate ourselves like the Iraq and the Afghanistan. We are technologically not that high that we will threat united states; but to terrorize the US from our Nuclear weapons is one of the way, as the US is already aware of it. But in such a case, we will be declared openly a terrorist country, as many countries are willing to do so; thus, isolation or even break up of our country will be our fate.

We must not take an aggressive approach and being a civilized country we should think in a positive manner as I have suggested above. Why are you looking the aggressive stance of Iran? why not looking the examples of the EU and the Asean? In case of the EU, the worst enemies of the past are the close friends of today; and in case of ASEAN, the communist VIETNAM is working cooperatively with other members. If we are able to form such a regional alliance then we can counter the interference and atrocities of the US.

Moreover, if we strengthen ourselves educationally, economically, politically then we would be able to prevent such US incursions.

Yes, you are right ... I am totally agreed with you... we shouldn't blame all Americans; as it is a fact that the American people are weak in their "general knowledge" and even their president "George W. Bush" takes Pakistan geographically with "Middle East". In every nation there are few people at the helm of affairs who are actually responsible for the major decisions. Therefore, blaming the whole lot is not good.

pakistan got 3 billion loan at its birth from america thats why after that we are unable to change the scenerio
we cant sustain without america's help untill we are politically,economically and morally strong....our govt is elected with america's approval
but now the time has come to set the so-called FREINDSHIP ablaze
we can only pray to ALLAH that this time we may get a govt which is selected by the people of pakistan not by america

Every country architects its foreign policy in the best interest of its country. To have amicable relations with other countries is preference in this regard but not at the cost of the lives of its people. To be more precise, we should maintain our relation with America but should draw a line where there comes clash with our interest. We lasted our pro-American foreign policy for 6 years, letting them operating and hitting air strikes in our territory at their own will. Have done all in their favor, now we see super power is still discontent with our steps being taken against Taliban. Given the facts, the current scenario suggests that now we need to revise our policy. And if six years are less to make a super power happy then we should respect the aspires and desires of our masses molding our attitude asking America “No Thanks”, rather strengthen our relation with affable and credible friend China. I guess we are only country in the world who are selling our sovereignty in return of American fear and dollar. Cart and Club policy has always been America’s principle which we are now being experienced.
