Smile Pakistan's Rigid Constitution:

It is said that the British constitution has survived because it is flexible and can adjust to the changing circumstances.Contrary to the English Constitution,Pakistan has a very rigid constitution.Sometimes situation arises when the constitution is unable to provide any solution? Should we have a flexible constitution in Pakistan? Comment, please.

AOA,
English const is consedered as the most flexible constitution in the world bcaz it can b ammended wid simple majority, while american const is considered most rigid const bcaz it can only b ammended when two third majority in congress and three fourth majority in states ratify the ammendment bill. Now look at ammendment procedure in pak const, only two third majorirty in parliment is required for ammendment , no ratification by provinces is required. so our const is niether rigid as american cosnt nor as flexible as english const. Federal State always need a rigid const. and states are always involved in ammendment procedure. i havnt given de details as i presumed dat u know abt ammendment proceudres in general. best luck

HEy You must be joking that Pakistan has a rigid constitution....
While every wise General who had the chance to rule over this country, has ammended it to his own needs and desires...i dont know a country in this whole world where constitution is ammended by its president in the name of national interest except Pakistan...
Pakistan has the torn and OVERLY ammended constitution, thanks to our Army..., that we can make a world record in this regard...uhhh, is it too much saying,,oops i have a big mouth...
bit lets face it...it is reality after all!!!
