"Mobile courts Ordinance"?? Is it the proper timing or???
President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari Promulgated the Mobile Court ordinance that shall come into force at once amending the code of criminal procedure. Through this code of criminal procedure (amendment0 Ordinance 2009 mobile courts set up an magistrates appointment will be done by the provincial government. The Magistrate will be authorised to give penalties upto six months imprisonment with no hearing and proofs. What do you think in the current political situations and as the lawyers march and sit in has only 15 days away. is this a right time for such ordinance keeping in mind the media reports regarding President sayings though negated later by the information minister that " Leave the Lawyers i will bowl themselves out myself ". I just want to know the ideas regarding this move of the government. Members are requested to hold discussion in the sphere of current situations and i hope this will not turn in to a blame game like the post of ineligibility post discussion. Come with solid thinkings and constructive criticism of the move by the president.

Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto recited these verses in his case during his trial. Na Koei wakeel hai na koei daleel hai Shouq shadeed hai, dard jadded hai Dardan dee mari dill dullari aleel hai The Ordinance has been promulgated when the parliament is in session. Constitutionally President can issue ordinance in case of emergency when parliament is not in session. It may be a tactic to curb the oppostion of PML-N or Long March. There will be no arguments, lawyer and witness, Magistrate will on the spot sentence the criminals or miscreants. Instead of consuming energy in new set up the existing system should be amended and reforms should be introduced.

Ordinance for establishing mobile courts has been issued by President on 01-03-09 and taken force with immediate effect. It is clear crystal indication for the lawyers and nation to step down the long march. Free hands to punish anybody without any proof means law of jungle is prevalent in d country. No matter, any innocent pedestrian can be put in jail on the plea that he committed crime. That pedestrian can be me or u. Decision maker hav a backup of Presdient, go ahead and put innocent ppl in jails to linguish for six months. Even on holding flag of PML (N) can take anybody behind the bar. Establishing such courts tends to increase discrimination among PPP and PML supporters. Justice in Pakistan is already equal to rub ur heals. Now it has further sprinkled d oil into wounds of poor. Agitation of lawyers and nations will be dealt with iron hand by Govt. This statement of president in recent past implies the purpose of this ordnance. Yani k ab Sare Aaam Badmashi ho gai.. Diyan se chalna bhai.

What if one is going to take his exam [ approaching css 2009] or going to university, college or school and they put him/her in jail that they know that he is a lawyer, member of PTI, JI or his family supports PML(N) or any party that are agitating on the Judiciary issue or against the ineligibility of Sharif Brothers...... what a ridiculous situation........ They only way to avoid hostility against you is to join the hostiles ........ what a solution man ........ Yaani ab diyaan sy chalna nahi balk ghar sy nikalty waqt PPP ka janda ya Badge and sticker laga k zaroor nikalna..... hy mera democratic Pakistan........ Tera har raang har roop he nirala hy.......

This is right time
One of senior member had started discussion that is it right time to introduce or enforce the mobile court. I must add here that it is right time for president Asif Zardari, because now our all politicians are part of circus and we all are just watching an epic drama and every one is just busy in brighten politics or they are just busy for one person that Chief Justice Ifthikhar why not they concentrate on issues like swat and fata.
Nothing important to introduce this in history first time but to downsize the long march for restoration of judiciary but according to me it could not work in Punjab and may be in rest of Pakistan |

More Impostant Crises
It has always been our history,
Pakistan is facing a number of crises presently but the Govt is only emphasizing on one thing which is how to make the Center invulnerable from the expected voilance in the long March. Its now crystal clear that US and British don't want peace to be restored in the Swat valley. According to them the only way is to eradicate the Terrosists by force. Like they exonerated the unwanted Terrorists from Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan. Even then the number of American soldiers dying in those terrotories never stopped and it has always been unjustifiable to them. "Another" liberation army from Balochistan has threatened Govt by giving an ultimatum to kill John Solecki if the Govt failed to meet thier demands. But they should be knowing that Govt is astonishing busy in making new policies and introducing the mobile courts. Now its up to them if they use the mobile courts to efface crime, justice or people. On the request of Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gillani the President of Pakistan Mr. Asif Ali Zardari has taken back the Mobile Courts Ordinance. I think it is a good news. The ordinance was void ab-initio as the President can not promulgate an ordinance while the assembly is in session.

In connection to this issue please list down all other decisions of current government which were reversed after public cry or due to some other factors proving the immaturity of decision makers.
For instance reversal of decision regarding ISI supervision, sending of ISI Chief to India w.r.t. Mumbai attack, reversal of holidays announced, etc. Members are requested to list down all the decisions similar to the above quoted examples so that we can conclude the maturity level of our strategic decision makers. |
