Dear Friends I ask question from all of you that wht is wrong in appointing a poletical personality as a chairman? Being a politician is it wrong?
There mostly remained dictator's nominee on this post but it never been objected or criticised. You know what dictators and Jurnals did with our country? But all of us are silent but when ever any politician comes on the post we begain to make scandles and critcise. Some friends on this form critised that she is not CSS passed. Dear Mr. Shahid Hamid (R) was Css passed?. Was he M.Phill in education. Mostly there education is Inter level.
You know under whose leadership this country came into being? Dear he was a politician.
You know under whose leadership this country recognised as head of Muslim block? Absolutely he was politician.
All politicians are not equal. we should be positive and optimist. It is miltiry establisment's conspiracy against civil beaurocracy and civil rule in our country. I thing we are responsible for giving path to Miltry in our country because we are used by them.
Dear I don't know miss saeeda and I have heared his name first time and I never joined any political group.
May she work as best as no body done. We have seen the works done by militry, Jugdes and others what they awarded us? every body know and how we expect it a good?. We know past of Mr. Iftikhar Chaudhary and others. If now he is doing right then it is also possible that any civilian or politician may do best. Best of Luck.

You are absolutely right; there is no problem in appointing a political personality as chairman FPSC. When General Jamshed Gulzar Kayani was chairman then everybody was happy. Had he cleared CSS??? Miss Saeeda might be polictical personality but then she is the choice of the government. When there is a duly elected government in place, we must learn to respect its decisions as well.

The President can appoint and fill the vacant seat of chairmanship, what he deems fit and suitable. It is upto him to bring the best person irrespective of the background.
The only need is that the person appointed, must do justice with his/her position. Nobody can raise eyebrows. To dispense the duties accordingly does not need the clearing the CSS exam, but the visionary approach is. We should not look back, see the past, but must go ahead.

Thank you for commenting. We struggle long for democracy and soon after we also critisize and demoralize. our this behaviour discrouges democracy and encourage antidemocratic factor.

Elven years misgovernance could not be solved in a lapse of time. It requires time. We should critisize but it should not critisize by critisize. I agree Mr. Mawan that what ever personality be appointed He/She do justice. I also agree Shallowwater that President has back of Peoples and peoples has chosen him. His decisions should be respected.

it would be great tragedy if this lady is appointed fpsc chairman, those fools who condone the appointment of such like person dont know the consequences of it. we want a person like general kiyani as fpsc chairman with five year autonomous tenure restored. Outgoing chairman general shahid hamid also upheld merit but general kityani was an unsurpassable icon of merit whom bloody bastard musharaf and shuakat pounced upon and took him out for not obliging thier favourites.

ppp has already set to strangulate merit by demolishing the role of fpsc chairman in promotions which were done mostly on merit uptill 2005 in musharaf era.

You all are rite but you guys know that the standard of our politicians
and if any politician would be on this seat then this the only department in Pakistan which is somehow PAAK from corruption would be in dark.
Only the upcoming CSPs would be from the party of that chairman,i hope you all have an idea.This seat should be filled on merit basis and no other than a CSP should hold it.
I think you all know the powers of Chairman and interview stuff so politician should be kept far away from this department.please

Everything will happen according to merit because now here is an elected government responsible to the people. I am surprised to know that people are happy with Generals becoming the FPSC chairmen. How can army personnel run a civilian institution??? That is merit at its best when a uniformed dictator appoints his cronies as chairman FPSC?

@ Blossomberry. Plz be careful in using such language whether against Musharraf or anybody.

Miss Saeeda is best suited to the job as she is a female. Now we have a female speaker and female FPSC chairman. Pakistan is moving in the right direction regarding women empowerment.
