Is there any age calculater on this forum?plz tel me I tried my best but could not found.as a year before I saw it on this forum but it is not present now.as I have to check that can I sit in 2011 css exam as my age is january 1,1982.or kindly some can say me that in how attempts I can be appear?

CSS 2010 Rules:: candidates born earlier than 2nd January, 1982 and later than 1st January, 1989 will not be eligible. Your date of birth is January 1 , 1982. You born earlier than 2nd Januray, 1982, I am sorry you are not eligible for CE - 2010 with the difference of single day. Consult FPSC for more details.

it mean I have no chance even in appearing in css exam 2010 as currently my age is 27 years it will be 28 on 1 january 2010

pls consult FPSC for confirmatio. there might be some relaxation for one day. othewise rule is rule they even don't relax it for a moment.

but dear there is a confusion between these two thing as it is written inside the sight. 1st thing is written (having at least 2nd division bachlor's degree between the ages of 21 years to 28 years as on 1st january 2010) and the 2nd thing inside the sight is written (e.g. candidates born earlier than 2nd january 1982 and later than 1st january 1989 wil not be eligible) now according to first one my age becomes 28 years and according to second my age becomes 28 years and one day.
as according to first fomula
as my date of birth is 01-01-1982
and the formula is 01-01-2010

01-01-2010 formula
01-01-1982 my date of birth

00-00-28 as according to first fomula my age becomes 28 years


and the second is who r born before 02-01-1982
as my age is 01-01-1982

now the confusion is that, to which formula should we follow 1st one or second one
and also I asked the fpsc office Islam Abad yesterday and sir Shabir Ahmad Choudri who toled me that according to formula 01-01-2010 "ur age becomes 28 year so u r eligibe for css 2010 exame".

You are not eligible whether you follow formula 1 or 2. Cut off date is 1st Jan i.e. one should not be 28 years old on 1st January.

Whats confusing you?

1-1-2010: You are 28 years old; Not eligible
2-1-2010: You are 28 years, one day old; Not eligible.

Simple formula is the cut off date that is 1st January. Candidate born before 2nd January, 1982 are not eligible and you were born before 2nd Jan.

Where does the confusion lie?
