Well, a very popular non-verbal expression is THUMBS UP in westren culture and also in pakistani urban culture, which means the person who thumbs up is expressing the feelings of joy and happiness.
But if you express your feelings this way in another culture, e.g in punjabi rural society, u might find yourself in trouble. ! Its meanings are quite different in this social setting. Similar is the case of other non-verbal expression, which have different meanings from culture to culture. |
