It is an ironical situation that Karachi is again bathing in blood, but main culprit, as also in past, seems to be the MQM, which instigated the problem and yes ANP is also a party.. Probably MQM had tried to push Hazara people to stand against ANP, not only to break the power of Pashtun in Karachi but also to create problmes in Khyber Pakthunkhawa.. Since, government fears from MQM powers (as stated by Hafiz saab bori band and bhatta set up) so it is not entering into any strife against it. ...This is a general perception and everybody can differ from this point of view.
But in current political situation of our country, any political party does not qualify being a Pakistani party through their deeds and their statements... We all should say NO to every party either it is PPP, PML (Q), PML (N), ANP, MQM, J.I, JUI etc... As regards long boots, apparently there is no hint that Army could venture into power, because it is looking after its actual works of saving country from turmoil .... Sorry to say this so called democratic government is the worst for Pakistan since long... may Allah almighty save country and wake up its sleeeping people to use their minds for the country instead of blaming and teasing one and other .... |

The Police and Rangers should not be blamed for this political vendetta and blood-letting. the MQM, ANP, PPP, and now a new player, that is, Hazaras have all been active in this butchery. The MQM claims to own the city of lights, the ANP is struggling to hv equal power-sharing with MQM. the PPP seeks to build itz constituencies. While the Hazaras want to raise the voice of their province from here in Karachi. The most important thing that has always determined the decision-making and power-politics in Karachi is the militant and firepower of these parties.if u want to hv ur say in the politics of Karachi, mow down some people.this wl prove ur strength and then u wl be invited to table-talks. Now the issue of hazara province is at itz best.the MQM has some vested interests in the creation of this provice.it has provided some firepower to the people of Hazaras in karachi to spark off a target-killing. The ANP members were the first target of this episode. The ANP affiliated gangs retaliated by targeting the MQM supporters. The PPP has also been a spectator. it cannot do anything to itz coalition parties in Sindh except by bringing them to the table and forming inquiry committees. Yesterday, the boycott of MQM suggests some insinuations to the people who understand and read between the lines.

It seems that Gen. Naseer Ullah Babar is needed again in karachi, but he seperated himself from PPP when he saw the policies of the PPP in Mush era.
It was he who had challenged the MQM in early 90s during first tenure of BB, but the MQM could not find the "bori" of his size.

No Dear, I think that episode should not be repeated. Both of the groups i.e. ANP and MQM have accumulated huge amount of arms, disarmament is the only solution. Moreover, impartial administration in the Karachi is need of the hours.

It is very strange.
On the one hand they are partners in the coalation gov. of sindh and on the other hand they are killing the workers of each other. And if they are accumalating more arms, the show down is immenant, and it surely will fullfil the long boot theory. No other force can disarm the heavely armed city like karachi.

It is called dirty politics. They are cashing the blood of their workers. Did you see a leader attacked or die?

No doubt sir.
These so-called leaders travel in bullet-proofs with guards and when that is not enough, they flee to London/Dubai. That is politics of Pakistan. But most find the day of judgement in this world sooner or later.
