what is the relationship between religion and art? particularly islam..................

its really a tough topic to discuss,specially in a country where people are used to mix religion with arts and Traditions..

its right art is product of religion..........................but in islam case is different...when we talk about sculpture and performing arts.....does islam permit us to practice these arts?

art includes a wide range ...like drawing,painting,literature,poetry,sculpture,danci ng,music,interior,flower making.


some of them are tolerable,some acceptable,while some are not permmitted..

music,dancing,sculpture making(coz its 3-dimentional)not permissible.

both the things are quite different.. religion is the set of defined rules and teachings which are implemented on each and every follower without discremination.. secondally the boundary and limits of the religion are not defined by any person and they cant be edited.. a lot of people through out the world following different religions agree on this aspect that religion is not the creativity of human being and we are just followers not creaters.. while art is an aspect of human being based civilization that is created by the culture.. however religion effects the art directally or indirectally due to the mind set of religious leaders and followers also.. but no doubt that art has no certain principles limits and boundry like religion and it can be supported by any one without discimination of religion.. at the end the religion is way to live and art is way of living..
