Default Pakistan as Asian Tiger

For Pakistan to become asian tiger it is imperative to have Good System of Governance besides provision of infrastruture, catering energy crisis. Solving all ecnomic problem that Pakistan has today it can increase it Growth rate,Export,Foreign currency reserves,Can eradicate poverty,Unemployment and other issues.
All nation that have ecnomically grew, have strengthen their own ecnomy and made their policies matching world as well their national needs. Countries like Malasia,Indonasia,Singapur,Taiwan who despite world recession are making progress day and night.Pakistan should consider these countries policies and strategies.
On the other hand,if we contend on Current Government of Pakistan policies this dream does not seem to come true.IMF and world bank have raedy made policies for Pakistan. Our politician on other hand are doing nothing but criticising each other. We have even no Shadow govt due to this there is situation of uncertainty.Pakistan has Energy crisis due to criminal Ignorance of its Govt.
There is Capacity of 50 thousand mega watt in Gilgat Baltastan and Azad Kashmir but our Govt is keen to purchase one unit for Rs.25.There are coal reserve of 181 Billion Ton that can produce 1 Lakh Mega Watt each year.Electricity thus produced can make good energy need for next 500 year that are to come. But no attention is being paid.
Pakistan is making good 50% its oil need itslef whereas there are so many countries who are importing 100 % oil but they have better ecnomy than us.
Pakistan despite it has rivers, sea is facing crisis.despite Pakistan has largest reserves of Natural gas its industry is facing problems.
Wheat which is 78% of food that people are using but despite increase in population its consumption is decreasing annually which indicates that people are unable to afford it.
wheat productivity per acre is about 30 to 35 mund whereas it is about 70 to 75 acre per acre.Like wise we are taking 500 to 600 mund sugarcane per acre whereas it is 1800 to 2000 mund per acre in india.
In 60s Pakistan was biggest producer of Cotton but due to poor policies now pakistan is importing it to meet its needs.
Diesel is one of major input of transport and Agri sector but its prices are more than petrol. This increase has resulted in higher input cost.So our products do not remain competitive as compared other growing countries.
There is decline of 45% in foreign investment. We have 45% literacy rate majority of it have no skill.
During 3 to 4 years country's total exports have been shrinked to 19 to 20 Billion us dollars.Country's total budget deficit is increasing whereas its money is depriciating which is major cause of Inflation.
Pakistan has been losing 6 to 7 billions US dollars each year through smuggling via Afghan Tansit trade.
Banking sector have little or no contribution in ecnomic development. It is lending to govt rather to public for ecnomic development.
It is imperative to create new job of 3 Million every year but economy we have is so weak to generate new job and also it is unble to maintain current capacity.
It was World bank who gave the idea of Asian Tiger.Among Asian tigher Japan,Singapur,Hongkong,Taiwan ,South Korea and Malaysia were included. These coutries had low growth rate in 60's but their government took bold step and analysed the the situation and took advantage from developed countries policies in eradicating their own Problem.Had these countries not made reform in education and agri sector they could not have made such progress. These countries lavelled the road for foreign investment and ejoyoed benifits.
Pakistan has ability to progress but no sincere visionary leadership.we have resourses and tallented manpower .Also there is need to make reform in Governace, education and rapid population control .There is need to make independent ecnomic policies for betterment of Pakistan and people of Pakistan

Default Aisan Economy

Asian economic gaints i.e chaina, India and Japan are undergoing significant impact over pakistani economy. They are seeking for unlimited energy and mineral resources by targetting resourceful targets of Afghanistan and iran. Pakistan lies at the crossroad of these nations. Pakistan may prove to be a extraordinary role in bridging these economies by securing its own benefits.
Whole of this systematic changes demand for a comprehensive strategy by observing the neighborhood changes, it is important to develop an effective policy to show its worth as asian gaint.
However i would suggest a title for Pakistan as Sleeing asian Gaint that has many many strenghts, resources but unable to fully utilize them

Default A brand new state

"The state, as we have it for the last 63 years, has manifestly failed to correct its gross asymmetry. Numerous repair jobs on it have not succeeded. Pakistan needs a brand new state. There has to be a transfer of power from the high and mighty to the low and humble"

"Pakistan is alive and kicking. Describing Pakistan as a failed state is invalid and improper. The widespread corruption, lawlessness, killings, poverty and backwardness in our authoritative society only go to prove that what has failed is not Pakistan or its people but ‘the state’ in Pakistan."

* In Pakistan as in other countries, justice delayed is justice denied. The courts in Pakistan excel in delaying justice.

* Pakistan stands divided between the state and the people, between the fabulously rich on the one side and the downtrodden population on the other, between the haves and have-nots.

** Pakistan needs a drastic change in its constitution to make the government accountable to the people.

* the smaller the government the better for the people.

* Decision making should be done at lower level instead of centralized power
