Pakistan suffering from "image deficit" ?
Just read this statement of a UN spokesperson that low response by the international community to help Pakistan in the wake of devastating floods is due to Pakistan's "image deficit"
Now i am thinking what is this term. As for as i could gather from this statement is that pakistan's image is not good and the donors think that aid and cash sent by them will fall in wrong hands, i.e, corrupt officials. It has also been feard by the donors that aid might reach to the talibans. What you think ? |

Sociologist brother,
Its just because of Media, we have to control it before it destroys everything, our respect, freedom and image. No doubt there are certain other sources to confrim the corruption but when Media does so, even Pakistani living abroad will not donate just to see the level of corruption and this time some channels have not started wide campaigns for donations! Its Alarming.. Regards,
