Does Donald Trump's victory mean a New World Order?
During the presidential campaign Trump vowed to limit US interventions across the world, equal treatment for every country, strong relations with Russia, solution for Middle East and Palestinian crisis and eradication of ISI.
What do you people think, will Trump live upto his words or not? Will he be able to bridle US beyond its borders or just prove another conventional US president. |

Trump has decided to kick out the undocumented immigrants from his country and further said all those foreigners who have the criminal records would be discarded. Fencing at the border of Mexico where is necessary would be erected.... I think such decisions are good and would be in favor of American citizens...As such i am not seeing any big change in Pak-US policy...

Trump cannot roll back the USA into the isolationist phase which the country went through pre 1945 era. America is highly entangled in the web of world politics, economic globalization and international financial institutions. Owing to his almost zero experience in politics and governance, it is most likely he will make inroads into uncharted territories and commit grave policy blunders which is most likely to result in his impeachment.
As far as Pakistan is concerned, any successive US administration post Obama would have followed and retained the same policy of edging Pakistan to "do more" on issues of terrorism. In other words, the presidential nomination of either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump wouldn't induce a drastic change in policy towards Pakistan. |
