Yes it is true that our nation is not able to face any kind of disaster in a systemic way whether it is man made or natural.

However when times came the local populace worked hard to face the disaster, but that is not the need , what we need is a systematic and organized strategy.

What I percieve is pessimism in case of managment of any sort. Pakistani nation will not be able to face any disaster upto 2018.

Disaters:- Natural disaster(Floods, Earthquakes, Tsunami, tremors etc) is an event caused by natural forces that has significant effect on human population. Typically either human poulation are displaced or killed.

In Pakistan Floods and earthquakes are common. But the question is

As we saw during earthquake (2005) & floods (2010) there was huge destruction. And the problems we faced during relief efforts was lack of expertise lack of rescue helicopters in Pakistan and lack of correspondace among agencies. It is very important to educate our people how to respnose these disasters specially in remote areas where the people they are still not aware to handle such bad situation. Early warning systems should be there through which we can minimize the human loss by evacuating places.
