The Economic Capital of Pakistan; once famous as "The City of Lights" now is looking a tribal area. What are the causes of lawlessness and violence in the Karachi and what could be solution?

( But nobody can say it openly in the streets of Karachi)

--ALL politicians should be linned up and gunned down--

A dinner was on going, that night, when a mob of people protesting, came outside that building in Karachi in which a high level meeting was going on. The protesters were demanding to make arramgements to bring their familes back in Pakistan who were left along and helpless in India on August 14, 1947.
A man came out in lobby responding to the protestants and raise his hand to remain them quite. And said: "We know our duties".
The crowd scattered and disappeared with no abjections and further queries on four word of their leader.

Yes, it was my Quaid, Quaid e Azam. A politician and a leader!

U r right, Once it was the "city of lights" and now "its ciy of terror" . Forget all other reasons like corruption, lack of security, contovercy among poltical parties...main cause of Lawlessness which i think......

Pliticians own families are safe & their kids are abroad they have no harm thats why they are not very keen about the common man life....I bet if any minister's or governmnet family member killed then u will see the efficiency of our government ....Straight way shoot at sight the murdrers.....!

What's possible solution according to you people? I discussed the issue with many literates and illiterates within my circle, everyone sayings, ARMY OPERATION, some saying, just deployment of armed forces for a year at-least to see the results?

I wonder why not our so called PSPs are powerless and well-mannered rangers is just busy in making money here? Why everyone is ignoring this? I am not hitting on MQM only, there are many hands !

"Solution is their and will not last for more than a week", these are the words by a rangers official in karachi. Rangers don't have authority and ORDERS to settle these issues. Agencies are playing vital role. It's something which is quite complicated to describe here. The fight will continue till some specifics are not achieved and demands are not fulfilled.

one of the most important things that we over look is the very mechanism of politics and political parties in our country..to me ..all of the active "political parties" are gangs..its like having a large pool with small factions of street gangs and all these gangs have their own reasons,affiliations,interests and weaknesses which make them vulnerable to exploitation from all corners..resulting in chaos ...utter chaos !
