It is difficuilt question. However I have always maintained that Pakistan needs a benovolent dictator not from army add an exception if he is from lower cadres, but a civilian from Bourgoise class will serve our cause better. Kiyani saab wont serve us he will end up serving US and our elites like Mussharf did.

what i think is that Mr. Musharraf apparently was making Americans happy but other than two or three decisions he was doing fine...other than that the common man had jobs available, people can afford butter and bread n etc unlike the current situation.

Worst democracy is better than best dictatorship.
In Pakistan democracy was never given opportunity to flourish.
Every now and then a dictator takes over.
I know this fact that currently the politicians are eating us in the form of corruption,
but let them complete their tenure, let Nawaz Sharif come, let him eat, then let Imran Khan come, lets see what he do.

After all of them has eaten our country,
the anger will raise in public,
and that is the time when they will rise,
and find a good and sincere politician,
whom they'll back up like Ahmadi Nijad has the support of his public.

Dictatorship is not the solution.
A general comes, takes over and then he goes.
Then the democracy comes and another general takes over.

This is not the way.
We must let the political culture to develop.
And it sure will take time and we must learn how to be patient.

We need a leader who would keep our national interests his highest priority ! Who would actually work for the betterment of our degraded image on the world ! But can we bank on Gen.Kayani ? Certainly not ! I think we should give democracy a chance !
