aoa dear
first understand the question and then relate it to the subject.. u will easily get it...
e.g your question that...

q- how industrial revolution contributed to the development of international relations?

dear first of all you should know what is industrial revolution. and as we know from the history of world that after the stone age, man became social and used to live in families for support, shelter, help, crises, and ....

after that the industrial revolution started and the world was developing and progressing day by day....

u will be familiar with the scope of international relations... how it help the nations in this modern world.... so for the better outcome and efficient system one must have harmonious relations with the outer world and developed good relation and co-operations with them which is the need of the day.....

and every country and region is dependent to some extent to others and this creates friendly relations and in such a way the industrial revolution paved a way for the development of international relations and without such things no one can create or initiate linkages with the outer world.....

hope u got it...
dear its not my subject, so pardon me if i was wrong...

best wishes tc and ws

Ans1: actually international relations were before the industrial revolution. this revolution gave momentum to IR because of abrupt growth of industriesand economic activites in theindustrial countries, for that they needed energyand raq material which eventually shifted their focus to the importance of relations with industrial countries as well as the developing countries.

Ans2: firstsee what is nationalism, it is a movement by a group of organized ppl for their independnce against a ruling party. talking about the positive and negative effects of nationalism depends upon the level of the movement, for example one group's nationalism can be rebellion for the other side. like kashmir. u can take example of pakistan movement it was nationalist movement at all levels. and a ruling side can take it as a rebel.

Questions in IR: well let me tell u that questions in IR are not as general as u said. the topics u find in the syllabus are questions..in current affairs questions are more generally asked than Ir. in IR you have to study the theoris of IR like realism, liberalism etc plus the two world wars and cold war era is important, and the questions are basically focused on foreign policy, diplomacy, development ofstate system after treaty of westphalia etc. i would suggest u to go through Essential of internationl relations by parkash chandar..it is good book tograsp the concepts of IR and with the study and past papers u will easily understand the nature of questions asked

hope it will b ans to ur ques...regards
