Undoubtedly it is the starting of ever-spreading tsunami of young blood and none can stop it from removing the corrupt politicians and moisturizing the very beloved country(Pakistan) with love, justice, merit, equality and patriotism. But it all can be possible when such an unguessable crowd of people is ready to cast the vote in the ballot-box to protect the Imran Khan from the bullet of defeat on the day of election.
Never wait for a change but be the part of the change. |

A man oblivious of public administration
I hope the euphoria will soon blow over . Unfortunately, i am completely astonished and disillusioned over what i have heard from the mouth of my erstwhile hero. He is completely oblivious of the system of public administration. Instead of controlling corruption, de-politicizing police and district administration, restoring magistracy, framing a strict Anti-Corruption body, raising the salaries of bureaucrats and police officers just like doctors and judges;he has now jumped up on the bandwagon of destroying the institutions in the same way as his master Musharaff had done before.
I am completely disillusioned and disappointed with Police Reforms Formula of Imran Khan. Electing SHOs from masses (read political parties) directly, without any training and selection criteria, will further politicize and De-moralize the police force; leading to further corroding of public faith in the department. It is better to give them autonomy like judiciary, along with the establishment of an active accountability mechanism together with the revival of magistracy system for oversight. Also the pays and perks of police officers should be increased like judiciary. On the other hand, eliminating the institution of Patwaris will not do any good as Patwaris perform many other duties along with the record keeping. Secondly, removing Patwaris alone and computerizing the Revenue System can't erase corruption as the revenue system would still be susceptible to political manipulation. Thirdly, Imran gave no formula of reforming the corruption in lower courts and ousting those who are selected on political considerations by the sitting government of PPP. What do you all think ???

wait n see it's not that much easy, you can see a large number of people in altaf hussain's democracy jalsa type thing, gathering people is not a big deal.although i m of the opinion that he should be given one chance to see that his promises are fake or genuine, but criticizing N-League over dengue is very immature act of Imran Khan.

It was a good show overall by Imran Khan which would definitely disturb the status quo to some extent. I won't compare him with the likes of ZAB like some prestigious members have done, but he definitely is though bleak but single ray of hope in the darkness and deserves a chance as he is the only one 'untried'. Although it was a good gathering but honestly he is still far away from clean sweeping the elections. In my opinion he will just disturb the vote bank of the bigger parties and will be able to win only 5 to 10 seats for his party. Reasons are:
1. He is popular among youngsters but doesn't enjoy the street power. 2. The apples in his basket are not effective personalities. He is all in all in his party. 3. The lower and the most hardly pressed class is still not supporting him. 4. He is very optimistic but does not have vision of solving the complexed problems of Pakistan. 5. He has a charming personality but he is not a charismatic leader or politician. 6. People's sympathies are with him but they won't vote for him in that proportion. In spite of all these factors the positive thing is this that finally the youth of Pakistan is coming out for a change and is concerned about the future of the country. Regards,

Whatever the consequences, the Oct, 30 2011 will be remembered in the political history of Pakistan as a day when the tides turn to show a new political culture in the country. Never before in pak history we had seen such a large crowd of educated middle-class that have come to attend a public meeting in a ground inspite of security threats. It shows the wave of Cultural Change that is sweeping our society with the help of social media and internet/mobile culture.
Imran Khan is the first leader who is leading currently but i am sure more leaders like him will emerged in the due course of time. Anyway, lets say bye bye to politicians like Bhuttos, Zardari, Shareefs, Altafs and Chuadries. (Disappointed pakistani people have turned into hopeful people)

He said, '' Zardari americno ke jootay polish karta hai''.

Good point raised by you .where there is MQM ,there is a way for success---political formula to win .Be with MQM and make a big show.Ans second thing is Imran khan is not a strong rival of PPP as PML-N is . secondly ,new province issue ne 2 parties ke repute ko bht nuqsan diya he ..

Imran Khan will prove himself revolutionary if he implements his agenda and it will be an auspicious day in political history of Pakistan. But i doubt implementation of his agenda. There are many factors to be considered. Imran khan will face innumerable difficulties in implementing the agenda. Corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and defense personnel will definitely try to fail him. In addition Imran Khan is not in good books of America. So there are tough challenges ahead for Imran Khan. Only time will clear it.

In my view, to keep the momentum up, Khan should have announced a deadline for looters of national assets to bring back the looted money in Pakistan and after the expiry of that deadline a long march/civil dis-obedience movement would have to be announced instead of giving them "some months"
"After some months" is a loose and vague expression that can dampen the tempo of the movement started on 30th Oct. 2011.
