Very sad. The attack shows that there is lack of communication b/w pak army and the Nato forces. We are fighting others war and giving great sacrifice of our soldiers. I dont blame NATO for the attack. I blame civilian ad the military leadership which has bowed down against the International Policeman, and selling our sovereignty and security in the name of "fighting against terrorism"
The NATO supplies will resume just after a call of the Negro man. TIT FOR TAT is the response to the attacks anyhow.
It is unbelievable that a NATO helicopter intrudes in Pak's territory and the chopper is not striken down.

Its a very serious matter. Army chief General Ishfaq Pervaiz Kayani has said that Pakistan would retaliate when any such attack occurs next time. The NATO supply line has indeed been cut off, but it remains to be seen for how long can Pakistan resist the American pressure. Pakistan is in a catch-22; they cant simply back out of this war on terror and also cannot allow its troops and citizens to be killed in broad daylight. Well dialogue seems to be the only solution. This act of NATO forces would fuel further anti.Americanism in Pakistan.

Are Americans trying to stop terrorism or make sure that terrorist attacks continue in Pakistan?

US-led coalition's helicopters allegedly fired on a checkpoint in Northwest Pakistan, killing 28 soldiers of Pakistani Army and wounding 14.
Top NATO and US commander in Afghanistan has Gen John issued a statement offering condolences to any members of Pakistan Security Forces who might have been killed or injured. (He must be a big Drama King)
However NATO has not officially claimed any responsibility so far.
Pakistan has closed two key Afghan borders crossing to NATO supplies after the attack.

Well, this is more than enough now. It's high time to take a decisive action against the US and withdraw from war on terror as we do not basically own this war. The NATO/ISAF raid is a flagrant violation of Pakistan's sovereignty.

Last year US helicopters killed two Pakistani soldiers near the border, prompting Pakistan to temporarily close its frontier to supplies being shipped through the country to NATO troops in Afghanistan. The US claimed it was an accidental killing. What a shame!
I think it was obviously not an accidental attack by any means but the deliberate one.
I am sure that they are going to claim the same what they did last year.
This attack again is not an accidental one too since the attack has occurred two and a half kilometer inside the Pakistan border which amounts to about one and a half mile.
Is this deliberate one? Huh... My Foot!
If we can recall this year Pakistan Military released CIA agent Raymond Davis (who was charged of deliberate murder) and just hours after his relief a major CIA drone attack killed 15 tribesmen who were pro Pakistani Military on the border area. Similarly, there is a wide list of grievances, like what the US is doing in Afghanistan, the way the Pakistan's interests are being ignored by the US and the recent attack on Pakistani soldiers is just the latest one of them.
The time to take a decisively retaliating action has come along.
Pakistan should be in a perfect position to take this matter at the highest level and respond to this attack in a way that it conveys a message to the US and other enemies that you are up against Pakistan, not Afghanistan, Iraq or Libya!
Let us force our government and military to react decisively, and do something that would not just pacify public opinion but the soldiers and officers of Pakistan Army.

It's the weakness of our faith that we cannot do without the aid given by the US. Pakistan Alhamdolillah is full of all kind of potentials. True, our resources are inefficiently managed. We badly lack the efficient management of our resources which is concomitant with the lack of good governance. But that is not the issue under debate here.
What needs to be talked about is how long will we let things ride this way?
The recent NATO attack on Pakistani soldiers within Pakistan this time should be treated as inevitably intolerable action yaar. Retaliation should be the answer.
We are in a perfect position to carry out the same. Let us not give any benefit of doubt to the US-led coalition forces if they claim that the attack was a mere accident. It was deliberate obviously...

Unfortunately the government don't have the courage to speak against america.
Infact no Muslim country can talk against america. Saudia having the biggest oil reserves cant dare to speak against americans.American troops have bases in saudia arabia and i am sure a day will come when they ll accept isreal too.As far as Pakistan is concerned resources to dur ke baat hai we don't have electricity ,water, food how can we battle americans out.America is not an easy nut to crack

Dear members,

Alongwith expressing your sentiments on the matter under discussion,we should also shed some light on appropriate measure that should be taken by our govt. to counter this situation and what should be our response to the americans?

Well guys it is very sad to know that we lost so many of our soldiers because of this incidence.
But the point is that why our Civil and military leadership reacts only after someone in the uniform losses his life.
Killing of innocent people in drone attacks is not unknown to anyone.
Does it mean that the life of an ordinary citizen is cheaper than that of a man in uniform.
According to the Time magazine president Obama has said that the drone attacks are a gross success, but gross success does not reflect net success.
Civilians are as patriotic a Pakistani as a man in uniform can be.
Their blood is as red as the blood of a soldier.
Then why we remain silient when they bomb the houses with innocent women and childern in them. No one then calls for a NATO supply line shut off.

If this war is to be won then we have let go our double standards. Killing of any citizen is as serious an offence as killing of any government servent.

We have to look into their eyes and have to put our message accross the other side and say that enough is enough.

If we repeat our mistakes then this kind of incidence would happen again.

June 2 incidence is still fresh in the nation's memory.

We have to be assertive and at the same have to show our commitment to our cause.

What we do is just talk talk and talk while doing nothing.

Come on.... Enough is enough

Well Iran is not as rich as Saudi Arab or Libya are in oil resources, but it retaliates against America on all forums... What Iran is completely rich in is what other Muslim countries (esp Pakistan) completely lack in... and that is Faith In ALLAH... Iran is happy with what it has and knows how to improvise its resources... Any sanctions from the US do not affect Iran at all...
When the world trade center was hit USA decimated Iraq and Afghanistan.
Whereas the so-called allied forces (NATO) are repeatedly attacking Pakistan, making a joke out of our sovereignty and the people at the helm of affairs only condemn and warn it, failing to react in practical terms (which sounds seriously funny to me). (The recent warning to the US for vacating the Shamsi airbase the NATO supply cut off at least serve as a sigh of relief though).
On the contrary, the Iranian military commander today has said that if Israel fires even a single missile at Iranian nuclear facilities, every inch of the entity will be the target of Iran’s missiles.

Iran warns them just before the attack takes place and Pakistan only condemns and warns even after being attacked. Feel the difference my dear. Our nation simply lacks the faith in ALLAH so much that we are compelled to think the way you have said above that our country cannot do without the US aid. Whereas Iran is living without the US aid and in fact more prosperously than Pakistan. I would have been proud of you if you had said that we cannot do without ALLAH's aid...

Well, simple condemnation by Pakistan is not enough. An optimally tough stand needs to be taken, since we are nuclear power and got world's 6th biggest fighting forces. Why the US, West and Israel are hesitant to attack Iran, but they are not worried about taking action inside Pakistan, even in Abbotabad which is nearest to the capital city Islamabad and nuclear facilities too. The reason is they know we lack in the power of decision making. So we should manifest strong decision making now. CIA assets in Pakistan should be cracked down completely. Blackwater, the weeds of which are grown in Pakistan by Musharaf and Zardari should be banned completely. Warning the US to vacate the Shamsi Airbase and cutting off NATO supplies are a positively bold move though. Besides, we should withdraw from war on terror as this is not our war. Above all, the people of Pakistan living anywhere in Pakistan should peacefully protest against every US embassy anywhere in the world. A simple (fake) US apology is not enough. Let the message reach across to them that we are strong enough to retaliate when it comes to country's sovereignty... Alongside, we the Pakistani people should think that why is this happening to us? We should locate as why, where and what wrong there is with us after all?
