Default what is wrong with this Country?

i was planning to write the agony of my heart from a long time but now it has reached its height.what is wrong with us???
less than 36 hours n i hear 4 news that have made me feel guilty of being called a PAKISTANI

1)Pakistan opens NATO supplies without the assurance of ban on Drone attacks(decision is to be taken by Government but we all know what it is going to be)

2)America apologizes for the detention of Shahrukh khan on a New york air port for just 2 hours and we were so "strong" as a nation that we can't make him apologize even after killing some 2 dozen soldiers(Salala check post attack)

3) for those who watch Hasb-e-Haal,there was a news about the bragging of PM's Son about his assets of more than 800 crores.

4) some 10 minsters took oath and none was issued with Ministries "YET".as if ministry is some kind of a Desert, give as many as you want.

where are we going,as a nation,as individuals,as human beings.....

I think the last hope to safe this country is Imran Khan.
He has all the courage to see in the eyes of the US.

5) What's also wrong with this country is that its inhabitants and government are deeply offended when the US infringes on its sovereignty with raids and drone attacks. But the same people are mysteriously quiet when huge chunks of Pakistani territory go under the complete control of foreign militants (North Waziristan, specifically, which is overrun by Afghan and Arab commanders). Is that also not an infringement on Pakistani sovereignty when foreign non-state actors create a state within a state in Pakistan, where they act as everything from the executive to the executioners?

6) We want the Americans to apologize for targeting our soldiers (the Americans insist it was a mistake) yet we care nothing for the untold hundreds, if not thousands, of civilians who have died in FATA as "collateral damage" as a result of our artillery shelling and aerial bombardment. Every family you meet from FATA has lost someone or the other to these attacks yet the entire country of 180 million is virtually quiet on this matter. In fact, the lives of the citizens of FATA are so cheap that this is, in fact, a non-issue in Pakistan.

I think the initiator of the thread have very correctly pointed out a serious issue/the present situation of us as a nation. It is really shameful for Pakistanis that on the one hand there is no apology from U.S on killing of our soldiers while on the other hand just two hours of detention of their renowned film star made the U.S to apologise from India.

We dont have any self-respect and world knows it.If we dont respect ourselves how the world is going to show us the same.We are still slaves. The ray of hope,if any,is embedded in the people of PAK.No one else is going to change the situation for us.We need to step up or otherwise to regret would be our fate.

We need revolution within us more than on roads.

you pointed some strong reasons but these are the Crops being sown by our elders in the name of "ISLAMIC JIHAD" in the 80's.the same reason a LAL masijid emerged as huge arms depot at a walking distance from ISI headquarters. You can't train people to fight in the name of ISLAM and then just literally STAB their backs by attacking them after 13 years.(1988-2001).it was inevitable..but all i have to say is that our own nation is confused in that regard because we are fed with LIES.today everyone hates TALIBANS and so called TERRORISTS but once they were MUJHAIDIENS.it is just an experiment that have back fired upon us.we have used the word of JIHAD to fight against INDIA n SOVIET UNION and this time we our self are target of that JIHAD.

@Roomi

our youth is either so ignorant about the situation of our country or so sense less in their approach that you can't even imagine.I have been once a part of highly technical Institutes of Pakistan and that Institute serves as the nursery for your future space and telecom programs.Cream of Pakistan is gathered there and every student is very bright in his own kind but trust me that they don't give a f*** about your country.I think that they were more important then your UET,LUMS,IBA students because they were going to be the real life workers and scientist in your defense industry in a period of 2-3 years and even if you ask them the name of the 5 CM's and Governors of Pakistan, they'll not be able to tell you that.just a raw youth force is not needed to block the roads of Pakistan to bring the change but a force with vision and attitude of governing the change is needed to bring the change because a raw Urge of change only brings a Blood thirsty revolution as "FRENCH REVOLUTION" followed by an era of un-rest and anarchy and i do believe that we are not even eligible for that too

India is second most populous country in the world and the biggest democracy. US President apologised from AFGHAN people on incident. Even Afghan People have respect we don't.

Very sadly we will never change and there will be no revolution. All those leader who are talking about revolution soon we will see them. Most corrupt Nation ................. We must accept reality.

The perception of the entire world as per Pakistan, the so-called Muslim country, is pathetic. Every nation view this state as nothing but a place safe heaven for the terrorists, an abode for corrupt leadership, and an area inhabitated by uncivilised and uncultured masses. The deteriorated condition of the law and order here has further aggravated the situation. The entire nation is left with no self-respect in the comity of nations. Harsh but true.

Had it been a truely Islamic state, the golden principles of Islam would have brought this country to the acme of prestige and reverence. The actions of the masses in general and the ruling elite in particular would have compelled other nations to treat it differently.

No doubt, the seeds of hatred and unrest had been sown long ago to attain some objectives (unfulfilled !), but the crops are being harvested by the present generation. The law of nature.

It's the time to mend our own house in order first, to cultivate love, to be sincere with the nation and the state, to devise policies that could earn respect and bring out our fair image worldwide, lest our coming generations shall be supposed to face the ever gruesome situation. Even the magnitude of which, God forbids, may be of gigantic size.
