Default Much needed to be done to define..

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Monday said that a lot needed to be done to arrive at a definition of vulgarity, DawnNews reported.

"A three judge bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar was hearing a petition filed by Justice (retd) Wajihuddin and former Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed against obscenity aired on TV channels.

In his remarks, the chief justice said had members of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) done their job right, obscenity could have been controlled.

He said he did not want anyone to say that restrictions were imposed on broadcast material without hearing the points-of-view of concerned parties.

The chief justice advised the Pemra to assemble together all the stakeholders and reach a stance on the matter. "

Question:Could we ever be able to arrive at any unopposed conclusion?

Is there any bookish definition or it is something that's varies from person to person?

I expect decent & decorous discussion, Guys.

Regards,

I think this is the time to come up with valid statement to stop vulgarity aired on our TV channels I think the content that aired on channels should be appropriate atleast it provide people with education and entertainment. and all the TV chennals and stakeholders should signed agreement that no vulgar or any material that sabotage our society, should not be aired.

what really stirs my mind is that media is only reflecting the facts and evils that exists in and are lurking in the society.
Now the question of vulgarity is that it is a very personnel thing because if some one opposes something he/she must first analyze his/her social position social status. we all have to ask our selves first; is there any thing as natural modesty?

Media isn't reflecting but glamorising unnecessarily.

Individually,It varies from person to person according to his/her upbringing & social circle. Collectively, It needs to be determined by STATE. An effective code of conduct is need of the hour.
