Default fair trial act 2012
parliamentarians has passed fair trial act as well as contempt of court act 2012.The supreme court took an action against this contempt act because it will provide immunity to head of states and highest echelons of government .But it remained silent in case of fair trail act 2012 which entertain police and secret agencies rights to detain without trail .It also endanger the privacy of individual citizens because most criminals will use black berry system of cells .

what would be the reasons of fair trial act because it is against international charter ,in the domain of liberty of person.

Fair trial bill has been passed to counter the threat of terrorist's resurgences.It will ensure a transparent and effective trial of terrorists who often get away scot-free for want of evidence.The intelligence agencies can share their surveillance materiel with courts that can be used to try terrorist offense.it will also make the agencies accountable to courts.

There is no denying the fact that FTA 2012 may be in contradiction to the privacy right, but it is to be kept into mind that this is no ordinary time, and extra ordinary time needs extraordinary measures. We knows how digital communication equipments are exploited by terrorists to their designs.
Insofar as our legal regime is concerned vis-a-vis in bringing it at par with contemporary technological advancement, I think irrespective of terrorism, we need to overhaul our system to bring Audio/Video and things like that to be accepted as evidence.

do you think it will give leverage to Police and agencies power and agencies in pakistan are not accountable to anything yet .lets see , what happens.

I am unable to find it .perhaps ,it is not disclosed publically by officials.
