Default Normalization of pak-russia relations--a healthy notion

Dear Seniors and friends, please come up with your useful feedback on the following.
\

NORMALIZATION OF PAK-RUSSIA RELATIONS-A HEALTHY NOTION

In the overall gruesome milieu of our country’s internal and external political diplomacy, the recent development in Pak-Russia relations is a cool breeze amidst the scorching summer sun. Undoubtedly there is no permanent foe or friend in the international Relations; what fascinates and suits a country is its national vested interests.Samewise, owing to the contemporary challenges and the change-over from unipolar to multipolar blocs, the recent progress in Pak-Russia relations is not only really very fruitful but also call of the time. Although some deadlock was created by the rescheduling followd by cancellation of the Russian President proposed visit of Pakistan but it was compensated by the Russian Foreign Minister visit of Pakistan. It seems that both the countries have learnt a lesson from their past blunders of hostilities and are committed to framing good and friendly relations reading the pulse of time and to the utmost expections of the people. These relations have multifarious impacts: first and the foremost is to contend the US imbalanced and extended influence in the resources rich CARs and geopolitically vital South Asia, Secondly in the rapidly paradigm shift to functionalism from internationalization, on the format of ASEAN.Pakistan and Russia remained hectic in hostilities unfortunately due to foreign conspiracies but it is not lost that comes at last. Both Pakistan and Russia can take advantages from each other’s resources and experiences on the basis of peaceful co-existence and “Neighbours First” policy. Russia can invest in the economical, social, energy, mineral and shipping industries of Pakistan. In response, Pakistan can extend its full-fledged support in obtaining a good playing position for Russia in the post-2014 Afghanistan after the departure of NATO forces. Pakistan can also give access to Russia to warm waters-one of its long aspirations to Karachi,Gawader and Port Qasim harbours for its external trading expeditions extending from South Asia to Africa, South America and North America through Arabian Sea and Atlantic Ocean.SCO full membership,geo-strategic and geo-economical assistance, Indian factor, Kashmir Card,Nucler Energy capacity and a better future Militancy free region are some of factors Pakistan will rightly be expecting from Russia in response. It is crystal clear that Pak-Russia relations are unavoidable and indispensable. The ice of cold war and misunderstandings has started melting. What we should expect is: the sooner, the better.

that's what is called good optimistic thinking

similarly the other way round is Indian approach towards Washington which has led the Russian think of rescheduling their ties with Pakistan so its not like a one way approach rather its mutual or both sided approach towards normalization of ties which is beneficial for both of us.

Exactly!
Nowadays there is a paradigm shift,as i have mentioned, from Internationalization to Regionalism and Functionalism to counter imbalance of power. In our hard times, our neighbours can better serve us than our far away relatives or friends. We have always been deceived in the name of one or other accord or treaty by our allies. It is high time the govt took immediate alterations in its Foreign Policy determiners.

I appreciate your optimism brothers. I am also in favor of good Pak-Russian relations. Goods news have started to come. But we should not be over ambitious keeping in view the American influence on our foreign policy and in the same manner the Indian influence in Russia. Cancellation of visit of Russian head to our country is one of its examples. But some bit the ice has started to melt and this is good sign. We must appreciate this new scenario and raise our hopes for the better future of this relation..
