Arrival of Dr. Tahir ul Qadri on 23 December with the Agenda of Change ??
Dr. Tahir ul Qadri has decided to jump in the political arena of Pakistan after a long time with a very ambitious plan of Changing the current corrupt political system of the country. Arriving in lahore on 23rd December and hoping to assemble five million people on the ground of Minar a Pakistan.
Can he bring the desired change or it is another Drama to show the world his political strength he has among his followers ? Will he be able to impress the Pakistani establishment to the extent that they start thinking postponement of election to correct the system first and then hold election ? |

May be Dr. meet unexpected scene :waiting
Keeping in the mind the previous record; how Dr. got the current status and how he collected the people on Minar e Pakistan at his first announcement declaring him participating in the politics, it seems quite difficult for him to overcome the scene.
Another fact of the consideration is, people of our country like the religious scholars in only the concerned department. They do not want to see them participating in the race of power. The evidence is the unsuccessful Jamaet Islami on a larger scale despite presenting alternative solution via Khilafat as the way of government, as well as preparing grounds through holding convincing meetings on grass root level. Similarly is the case with Dr. The reason behind may be the fact that our Muslim society is fractionated on sectarian basis. So, there might be a huge crowd in any religious convention. But the same number is not sufficient to combat the challenges produced by the liberal and other less religious right conservative parties. Such religious personalities can add to the power of the existing giants. But giving a tough time to the competitors solely is difficult. If this happens, it will be an upset in the history of the country. Another important aspect can not be neglected here. Doctor sahb wants to correct the system first and postpone the elections. Many may think them of as an agent of some hidden powers who do not want to loose the authority over the system. The thought must be developed among the masses that he is following someone else's dictation. Moreover, changing the system is not possible overnight. So, thinking that first change the system and then allow people to participate in any process is just a child's wish. Due to these realities, I do not think that he will be proven a strong candidate in upcoming elections. Rather he will not attain any attention at a level comparative to those of PPP and PML. May be I could not analyze the matter in an adequate way. But I want seniors' response in this accord as I just started to work on Current Affairs through participating in such threads. Kindly guide me by indicating errors in my writing. I shall be grateful Regards |

i think that's mere a show of empty slogans and a fine but stereotypical rhetoric...what he said has already been said by many politicians, and is said every other day, in public meetings, talk shows etc.
If it is just all about saying big words and building utopia in the sea of masses chanting slogans, then there are many eloquent speakers who can swirl the blood of people and are able to speak far better than this person did. The palaver created by this person has lasted only till the procession is in place and is soon to fade away. After all Imran khan also did something like that few months ago on the very same place, nothing is gonna happen..

The main point raised by Prof. Dr. Tahir ul Qadri is the scrunity and eligibility of our representatives. He had not shown any intent to delay elections . He emphasized on the criteria mentioned in Constitution of Pakistan and its practical implementation in the upcoming elections. How can a ordinary or normal citizen of Pakistan become a representative in our assemblies, it is the only way he addressed in his speech.
