Yes in this case, you are right. We don't fulfill our national duties properly. Like you said illiterate people cast their vote on the basis of racism and feudalism, what role is this literate population is playing in selecting useful persons to serve their country efficiently?
We just sit in our houses and enjoy the moment like we don't care. Then whole the country starts criticizing that same Government which they selected in elections with some of those votes which were casted by some people because they thought there selected person will help them in different ways.
Nation won't develop until youth won't change itself. We are supposed to vote and it's not an option. Being a citizen of Pakistan, it's our national duty. If we don't cast vote, we are not supposed to criticize the selected Government also.

Mostly the literate people diminished the scope and significance of vote in Pakistan. They pull their vote for their own interest and gain, not only his self but also mobilize the illiterate persons for pulling his vote to a specific one as they gain sufficient wages and reference for himself in the future.
