Democracy is a good slogan here in Pakistan but its not in its true sense
our actual problem is not a democrtic policy..but those elected leaders who lead us in parliament or provincial seats..the r the only people authorized to prevail autocracy or democracy in a true sense..law n order 0.00001% here in pakistan.economic crises due to corruption..drone attacks due to irrelevency of our govt regarding outgoing or incoming issues..all these r examples of a failed democratic govt..its not the democracy that z wrong..it is we people tht r on fault..

Thumbs up Democracy is best form of Govt...!!

We are suffering today only because we were deprived of democracy in past. There are not flaws in democacy the flaws are within us. If we will not change ourseleves then no system can be successful in this country. We have already experiened the Dictatorship.
What we did not still expereince is the true democracy. We can find huge difference between Indai and Pakistan and one major reason is democracy. India experienced it we did not.
Democrasy is not the magic wand which will solve suddenly our all problems but it has the potential to solve many and if it will get chance then it will definantly work in pakistan. What we need to do is to believe in it and wait for long because its is evolution not the revolution.
In democracy we have the luxuary of not choosing those again who fail to deliver or fail to perform upto our expectation.
We can see the example of other countries-those who are democrative are more prograssive than those are not.

It is sad that we r raising questions about the effectiveness of democracy as a form of government when the western countries have already made progress by dint of democracy . Democracy is nothing but collective decision making by the individuals and institutions of a nation . Democracy is a system and every system requires some preconditions to run effectively.. The tree of democracy can only give fruit when those involved in decision making are patriots , literates , able and willing the change the fate of their country and are honest .

Default Democracy

Democracy is a good form of govt but where is the democracy in Pakistan. Here in Pakistan every one have his own definition of democracy. Every political party have their own form of democracy and according to them that is the best form of democracy. We don't have any unified form for any of the institution because we are divided on the bases of language, provinces, cities, casts, religious and many kind of divisions we have, so how democracy will be in a unified form in Pakistan.

Avoid regular use of "Netspeak" or other "cute" grammar or spelling (For example: writing "R U a woman?" instead of "Are You a woman?").

It's rather a rhetorical question. What works for a specific country is the best form of government for that country, for instance China, Sweden, Shah Pehlavi's Iran, Afghanistan in 60s-70s and Switzerland.

Is there really a democratic system in Pakistan. I think it is only selection and bargaining system in Pakistan. If you see in the case of MQM and PML-N's coalition is the best example of this democracy. In Pakistan every one has his own type of democracy any kind of democracy which suits to their mood they apply on us and we all get down our heads and accept it so easily.
