Only politicians are not responsible for the bad situation in our country because politicians are working on the shoulders of bureaucracy. This division in English and tat school are the creation of Pakistani bureaucracy. Children of most bureaucrats goes to English medium for that they always support the English medium schools in the country. Our education system needs the attention of politicians, bureaucracy, and the common people. When all these will be unite for the development of education in Pakistan so it will work effectively otherwise every effort of a single man is useless in this regard.

Yes! it should be but Urdu should not be neglected either. Urdu should get its rightful place in our eduacation system. Secondly, making english the medium of instruction would not help students much. Learning a language requires speaking, listening and reading. Acquiring proficiency in any language requires working on all of these skills but they are unfortunately neglected in our schools except a few, which are too expensive to afford by the majority of populace. The result is when students graduate, they can niether express themselves in urdu nor in english. Poor communication skills mean poor career growth.

Economic reforms are necessary for quality education. Corruption is the main hindrance in the way of bad economic condition is Pakistan. Not only Government but we all are responsible of this system because many well educated people having good designations involve in corruption. When everyone take this responsibility to keep himself apart from corruption, economy will rise and everyone would afford quality education in Pakistan.
Government should also work for education sector.

I think if we want to give quality education to every single child then we have to raise the standard of living of there parents by providing them the better employment oppurtunities so that they will not force there children to work as a child labour.
Secondly we also have to raise the standard of education of our Govt. schools and discourage the ratta system which has now deep roots in our education system

Many children are compel to do work in early age because of their financial condition.
They can't afford food. We can't say child labour is only root cause of illiteracy.
Many other factors are also involve in illiteracy in Pakistan.
Hunger is the root cause of many evils in our society.
First of all we should cope this situation, when masses will be prosper, everything will be good.
stay blessed.

Have you people ever noticed that teachers in private schools are not much qualified as compared to govt. school teachers. When govt. announces vacancies then students having high grades try to avail it and its recent example is educators vacancies and rest go to private schools for job and also those do job in private schools who don't find job in any other sector. Still standard of education in private schools is high even with less pay and its low in govt. Schools with high pay. The main reason is lack of proper check and balance policy. No body bothers to inspect them and they have no fear of losing job so thats why they don't perform their duty efficiently. In private school their is proper system of check and balance and they have fear of losing job thats y they perform their duties efficiently. If everyone start checking each other from top to bottom then standard of education will automatically improve in govt. schools too.

It is not the issue with the qualification of Government schools it is the issue with the education system in the country which is not a unified system. Every one have his own philosophy and he is working on that. There are well qualified teachers are in the government education system but they don't have opportunity and environment for to grow and have a career. Government should introduce a unified system which is best for the students and also for the teachers and all stakeholders which is directly engaged with it.
