Default karachi army operation.

Recently a political party from Karachi demanded from the federal government to call the army operation in Karachi city. In ur point of view, will it be a wise decision to do an army operation in karachi? and how the issues of Karachi can be resolved? please comment

Army is not the solution of every problem. The party specially MQM which is demanding Army operation in Karachi is one major cause of this chaotic condition.I think that the condition of Karachi is much different from Swat and Wazirstan. Karachi is a multiethnic city and is very populous as compared to swat ad wazirstn .Do you think that we have capacity to absorb millions of IDPs in case of military operation, because the Army operation not only cause the military casualties but also civilian causalities at large scale . so decision should be made wisely

MQM and all other hidden people behind the bad situation of Pakistan now wants that our army start an operation in a big city of Pakistan which have more than 20 million population. They only wants to make our army busy in Karachi so they can achieve their targets in other cities of Pakistan because Pakistan Army is busy in operations in other cities and they are not ready to inter in Karachi for an operation but it is not that we leave Karachi in the hands of traitors and these blacksheeps government should take serious action against those who are creating disturbance and give them punishment and make them examples for others. It is time we need to punish those people for what they do in Karachi. Mostly political parties backed these criminals that's why if police or rangers arrest them so political parties comes and make them free. All political forces should set together and solve this problem with mutual consent with all stakeholders. Operation is not a solution to any problem we have law enforcement agencies political parties should be stop to backup these criminal and police and rangers must be given full authority to deal with these people .

The government needs to address the root cause of problems. The government whether Federal or Provincial both are not seems to be interested to solve the issue but they are just playing blam game to score the rating. The Police+Rangers have enough strength to deal with the issue prevailing in Karachi but there is lack of will on administrative level.
The people who are supposed to make policies on such issues are either corrupt or incompetent.

I think political influence in Police and Rangers are the main cause of this issue. Police and Rangers arrest a person but due to political affiliation of that criminals police is not capable to bring them to justice and those political parties put pressure on them and release these criminals. Police and Rangers should be given powers and political influence should be removed so they can perform their duties and bring these criminals to justice. All political parties mostly in Karachi have their criminal wings and now they are crying to call the army its just a dram of those political parties and they want to blame the government for not calling the army or they maybe have a hidden agenda.

In order to improve situation in Karachi, we must consider other options than army. i think Karachi needs a targeted surgery at the moment and we are of the view that all should stand united behind whosoever is given the command of this operation

There is definitely a need of a Grand Army Operation. Moreover, the other law enforcement agencies must be given the free-hand to execute the criminals.
Let it be once and for all. If the current situation continues atleast 3000 people might see the face of death till mid-2014, so why not letting them die in a single operation, so we might be able to get a healthy and safe Karachi.

Regarding this matter, I don't understand why Supreme Court isn't taking any action for this issue. Despite of more than ten hearings, CJ is unable to make any final decision for this Problem. As far as army operation is concerned, Army is not the solution of every problem but We can opt this as a final decision. Army has some side effects also that's why We have to think ten times before making this decision. Perhaps, the best option We have in account right now is to give police a free hand under someone's restriction to perform tasks and clean Karachi from terrorists and weapons but It is going to work only when Police will perform these tasks wisely.
