Default MOM!!! Is revolution ready???

Today i was having a conversation, or argument, with my dear friend on a very strange topic. he asked me that that "if other countries can be successful on their own Language, then why do pakistan have to adopt a foreign language. Enlish is very compulsory and essential to learn in our country, but it is practised only when studying and on some special occasions,But on the other hand Urdu is our national language and spoken all over the country all the time. So why do we have to still study in english" he asked," i know Sir syed ahmed khan made it initial step towards the success of muslims in united india, but now time has changed we are no longer in the tyranny of british and we are not in a state of compitition with hindus, so cant we change our curriculum into urdu language, which will be beneficial to the people who cant read write or understand english, and maybe our literacy rate will grow which is obviously in favour of the whole country".

So what is the your opinion on this everyone???

dear bro!
Urdu is our national language but in order to communicate with the outside world we also need English and that's why it's necessary. the world is contracting more and more and has became a global village so English is a passport for mastering the world knowledge. though Urdu should also get its rightful place.

Default Good point!

Lets assume, we are studying up to graduation in our National Language i.e. Urdu, and continue to do so in jobs around us, how we will advance without studying millions of research papers published in English around the globe? For that, we have to setup a language transalation Department (Anjuman-e-Taraqi-Urdu) which has aims to translate all major research papers published in Urdu for our knowledge. Do you endorse this? Considering the millions of research and what after that? To communicate with outer world, apply for jobs abroad, and studies in foreign universities, we again have to study English from start.

India which is the fastest growing economy in South East Asia, has gained the title of "English Speaking Nation" while at the same time they just show-off in movies/dramas that each Indian is well versed with its old Hindu, which is not true.

The debate requires many things to add and discuss but to give you an over view I've mentioned only few things.

Regards,
