Default Who is backing who?

I am quite confused as whatever happening in muslim world as well as in Europe. I have clearly understood that why Saudi monarchy backing Syria's rebellions but i'm confused that Who is being backed by Russia and what is Russia's role in this scenario? And 2nd thing, Who is backing Egypt, Saudi Arabia or Iran ?

it is mainly the war between two great powers.i.e,USA and Russia.mainly America is backing Saudi Arabia, Syrian insurgents and monarchy in Egypt.
America and Russia are both arms exporter as number 1 and 2, and each one of them is not ready to quit the market of middle east.

now, both the countries are mainly exploiting them on sectarian bases.
(Russia)+Iran+Shiite Iraq = (USA)+Syrian insurgents+Saudi Arabia

this is common perception as well as my own perception.any one can negate my view rationally.

Let's streamline the whole thing.

US and Israel are backing insurgents because the other side is supported by Iran and Russia. US doesn't want to give up its weapon trade, influence etc. and Russia is trying to gain more of the same. And because Putin being a macho makes the cowboy Yankees feel small. Thus the clash.

China is in for a bit of fun.

Saudi Arabia is backing insurgents because she doesn't quite like Iran as Shia Sunni are so dumb they have been tricked to fight against each other by those dirty Jews. Iran is supporting Asaad for the same reason.

Now the insurgents. Terrorists from all over the world are flocking to Syria under the inspiration of the great intellectuals of Ummah like Orya Maqbool Jan who think that this is end of the times and Dajjal and co. are just around the corner and Syria is the headquarter of Imam Mahdi. So, off to Syria you go for one way ticket to heaven.

Speaking of Egypt, its biggest supporter is Saudi Arabia because it doesn't like Muslim Brother and has declared it a terrorist organization (because it can give rise to popular sentiments, democracy and similar bad notions). But this is just another conspiracy of Jews so let's just brush it under the carpet. The champion of democracy US, keeping in line with its glorious traditions, initially remained ambiguous but is eventually starting to support another dictatorship. Iran doesn't seem to care much for Pyramids.

But here's the most important party: Pakistan. This country is still confused as always and chances are that it will once again end up being used as rubber by everyone else. Let's see who bids higher this time around.

Well nobody noted an important point, that is Western and Russian interests converge at one point which is to halt the spread of 'radical' Islam

Which is why both are very keen and cautious to avoid too much involvement into Syrian conflict. Saudi therefore is trying to drag Pakistan into it. Let's see how it unfolds.
