Post Budget of Financial Year 2014-15

Federal Minister Ishaq Dar presented Federal Budget for financial year 2014-15. 17% increase on CNG rate which have indirect connection to Petrol. 10% relief in Salaries and pension. According to my analysis its not a public friendly budget. 700 million for Defence expenditures.

Kindly share your views regarding budget.

Yes brother you are right. Its not a friendly budget. Government is going to increase salaries but in response, that amount will go in government's treasury with the rampant increase in Cng price. this Budget brutally trampled on the feelings of poor people. Economic Council presided by Ishaq Dar, accepted the fact that, more than half of our population is living under poverty line.
According to the council: People earning less than 2 dollars(Rs.200) per day will be considered poor.
What's this? Is this a budget or some thing else?

Kindly, elaborate about Fiscal deficit, a general view about economic and current situation. Like about IMF and how country is working with them, why and what are the advantages of IMF fund? How much interest government have to pay in return?

Fiscal deficit is the difference between the government's expenditures and its revenues (excluding the money it's borrowed). A country's fiscal deficit is usually communicated as a percentage of its gross domestic product (GDP).

Government spending, inflation and lower revenue are among some of the main factors that point to fiscal deficit. The doubtful nature of fiscal deficit does not only endangers the growth of the country but also the government’s economic management abilities.
