Default Best Intelligence

While our intelligence agencies are busy shutting down TV channels, terrorists are just having another nice evening at Karachi Airport. But of course, we have the best intelligence in the world and don't let any traitor tell you otherwise.

AOA,

Before defaming our intel and security forces we as a nation should understand the root cause of all these terrorist activities.

Intelligence is an art of turning general information into a proper intelligence, which is ofcourse cannot be done by some magic spell!!! Why our citizens do not cooperate with our agencies/organizations? Why we all do not keep watch at our neighbourhoods? Why we do no pre inform the relevant authorities regarding any suspicious acitivities going around us or of which we may have heard about??

I do agree that security lapse is certainly a major issue in such attacks but such kind of urban war cannot be fought merely by the state forces, we as a citizen should cooperate with our security forces to root out the sleeper cells and any such groups.

Hope I have not offend any specific individual or group... this is totally a personal opinion. Thanks

Well the intelligence agency is the best, they must have 'already informed' the civilians (I haven't seen this news so far but it is highly expected ), it's bloody civilians' fault that this happened

Default Intelligence agencies

I have not seen the news of Karachi Airport attack yet but I think the duty of intelligence agencies is to inform about incidents before time and not to tackle those incidents. the duty of other forces is to protect the country in the light of information of intelligence agencies. many incidents have already been on record in which intelligence agencies informed about the upcoming incidents but other forces failed to do their own job. so, in my point of view we cant that this is the failure of intelligence agencies.

The recent news says that the success of operation owes much to the co-operation by the passengers present there , this point is right the security measures should be ahead of all these terrorist attacks , the state altogether should be offensive in defense instead of being defensive , another point of consideration is that when you already have had two major attacks at important installations , why not take lessons from those incidents and repeating the same episodes again and again ?
A Reuters correspondent in Pakistan in Herald recently opined that in all these security assessments , the major player, Taliban are always neglected that how much effort they put-in in terrorist attacks , You ( security establishment ) always highlight your achievements , you never accept how far your enemy is ahead of you .
Shopping of new equipment is quickly made on air , true resolve to clean this mess has not been made yet !

While watching news at 40 a.m in morning , there was a news strip , Renjars ahalkaar kay mutabiq dahshatgardoon ka asliha Bharti saaz ka lagta hai , Translation , According to rangers the weapons seems to be India made , this was our responsible media , reporting news very very responsibly , With out any forensic proof , any thorough examination of weapons by concerned authorities , our media was quick in jumping to assumptions that it must be India' conspiracy .
Please tell me do you want another fresh controversy with your neighbors , the relations which are already all the time at hair trigger ?
in morning as well there was news that weapons had Made in India stickers on them . Is that enough to put serious allegations on some country ? That too a country whose premier is now a very nationalist person ?
Our media should not be too behaving like 5th grade students , leveling serious allegations without any research and proof , like , Tumne hi meri pencil churai hogi stuff like that .

American CIA, homeland security and FBI failed to apprehend those 9/11 hijackers who took all the weapons through the airport to 4 planes, evading all cutting edge technologies. CIA not only failed to identify them at airport, but those hijackers got the training at American flying clubs, 14 of them stayed in the US for months planning all the attacks. This is what we call real failure, CIA still occupies the second place.

MI-6, UK's one of best spy agencies of the world failed to identify and stop the 7/7 London bombings, these terror attacks were planned and material was arranged in London. MI-6 is still there among the top spy agencies.

ISI is on the top because it is the best of the best, and its . Someone who made a post here has a history of making such posts. neither has he invited any comments nor any positive criticism is intended. All his post reflects is criticism for criticism. If someone expects an organization to stop every single attack, then he is not being realistic, furthermore he just wants to defame ISI, I'm afraid if a wolf kills a sheep in a remote area of Gilgit which is surrounded by hills and only a few human beings have been there, ISI may be criticized even for not informing that attack.

P.S: If someone thinks that ISI is not the best, then let him think that. World admits that ISI is the best of the best, no other certificate from any other is required. Nor does it require any discussion, discussion is done where someone is at doubt. It is already a settled fact that ISI is the best. Geo must also be banned.
