Default what preventsislam from communism.

I am studying sociology first time. Had heard of communism as something fatal to religion, specifically islam. After reading about it, i found nothing that dreadful in it. What pits it against Islam. I even googled it and could not find a satisfactory answer. Infact, they both talk of social equality, both are against acumulation of wealth by certain groups. What is so horrible in communism which is not in capitalism.
I am not a communist agent

I have no knowledge of sociology, but what I do know about famous communist parties, such as the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and Communist Party of China, is that they are vehemently opposed to religion. At least at the government level, communism is strictly secular. Communist leaders are nearly always atheists or agnostics, who wish to see organized religion vanish from society. The reverence reserved for divine entities in religion is replaced by mad adulation for the leader of the communist state, and the state itself. Communist ideology is also highly nationalist.

Quote:
The founder and primary theorist of Marxism, the nineteenth-century German thinker Karl Marx, had an ambivalent and complex attitude to religion, viewing it primarily as "the opium of the people" that had been used by the ruling classes to give the working classes false hope for millennia, while at the same time recognizing it as a form of protest by the working classes against their poor economic conditions.

In the Marxist-Leninist interpretation of Marxist theory, developed primarily by Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin, religion is seen as retarding human development, and socialist states that follow a Marxist-Leninist variant are inherently atheistic. Due to this, a number of Marxist-Leninst governments in the twentieth century, such as the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China, implemented rules introducing state atheism. However, several religious communist groups exist, and Christian communism was important in the early development of communism.

Islam prevented Islam from Communism . That is Islam advocates equality by means of doing justice whereas Communism ruthlessly destroys any aspect that could give rise to inequality. Inequality and differences among humans rise naturally, Communism couldn't stand against nature for long . That is one aspect of it.

You people seem to have better knowledge on communism atleast than me. The confusion for me is that if capitalism is acceptable to us why not communism, afterall many capitalist societies are also athiest or secular. Capitalism encourages accumulation of wealth, but its drawbacks are never seen in context of religion, unlike communism. Interest system is acceptable for us, multinational companies' hegemony is ok for us and state's authority over wealth is not. how come.

I have read a statement of marx stating "education, religion, morality system are all tools to maintain status quo", if we see it has a bit of truth in it. isn't it. And if we amend it to suit our society maybe it works better than capitalism.

I really want to get convinced against it

There is no need of getting convinced against Communism. It's true that dudes like Marx, Engles, Lenin etc. treated religion as nothing more than a tool to keep the people in check and thus a hindrance in the way of progress (which, come to think of it, is largely true), but communism as an economic system is certainly commendable, albeit with some modifications. I would love to see democratic socialism in Pakistan as it exists in some European and South American countries, where measures are taken to bridge the economic disparity between the poor and the rich and the state takes care of the destitute with free education and healthcare.

So communism as a strictly anti-religious ideology is not the only way, it can be molded into more moderate democratic socialism which is much better than blind capitalism supported by modern religious dudes like Moududi and that devil Zia-ul-Haq.

Roots of capitalism can be traced in Christian teachings, that is capitalist economies evolved out of Christian beliefs for example rule of law which is essential for capitalism couldn't be made possible without incorporating Christian ethics and morales, or liberty and individual rights basically arose out of Christianity none of the capitalist societies are atheistic, they are secular in spirit, means religion becomes a personal matter whereas under communist regimes state destroys religion

Communism believes in equality while Islam believes in giving equal opportunities.

In an ideal communist society all will get same reward despite their talent or hardwork

In an ideal Islamic society people will get equal opportunities to prosper so talentd and hardworking will get more reward than less talented and less hardworking counterparts

In capitalism people are suppose to get equal opportunities to thrive however practical situation is contrary to that.

In quintessence capitalism is more of Islamic than communism

Look at the China a communist country and still have a world top economy.. Im favor of Communism and socialism as well as perfect Islamic system. Capitalism is not fit for our country. while there is Jageer Darana system. there is Choudrism, Khanism, Waderism system. Capitalism is a For Jews...

This is a serious concern for Pakistan as America is a Capitalistic society and has been hit badly with recession. In their system, there is no health care, rich is rich, and poor is poor. In comparison with China, being a socialist society, there is an excellent health care system and furthermore, everyone is equal.

So If Imran khan Come Into Power then I hope he will adopt Socialism System for Pakistan
