Default The Governance In Pakistan

Governance means the process of decision-making and the process by*which decisions are implemented (or not.). The governance of any country depends on the leaders and their teams elected by the people in an election. While discussing governance in Pakistan, the leaders and politicians who are elected can’t create a responsive system of governance. Rather, they provide poor governance in the country every time they are elected and granted the mandate to deliver not just for the country but for its people as well.*

That is the reason why every citizen of Pakistan, when interviewed about the performance of their politicians and leaders, gives disappointed comments, identifying that their issues remain unaddressed and unresolved. The leaders, politicians, and teams in their constituencies are often found to be indolent. Most of them disappeared until the next election and didn’t address even the most basic issues for the citizens of Pakistan.*

Having been elected, they engage themselves in maintaining their bank balance and properties throughout the tenure. It is time to correct the blunders every time they commit, purify their conscience, and earn permitted (halal) instead of forbidden (haram). They should deliver proven work during their tenure.*

The Chief Ministers and ministers of all the provinces should be active and energetic. They should be ready to make frequent visits to the interior to address real issues. They, as of now, should have to intend to deliver for their people in their provinces. The chief ministers should act like they are present and absent in the cities where there are provincial assemblies. While being absent, they should be present in the interior, covering almost all the cities during their tenure. Their presence should mean proven work.*

The teams likewise should work in their constituencies actively and change the concept of being indolent by showing their fervour and hard work. The most basic issues are like building the roads, covering the main holes, and providing clean water in their constituencies. The local government should take part actively too. The mayors and nazims should attend the sessions in their local assemblies and visit the places doing the work in a real sense.*

Press conferences should be actively done by each of the federal and provincial ministers before identifying or addressing issues and after their accomplishments too. The opposition of the government shouldn’t be hindering the development of the country by not letting the leaders and their teams deliver.

In the case of the Paliamentry system, the prime minister should be versatile, having potential and capacity, and the federal ministers should be experts, showcasing their prowess in delivering proven work for the country rather than committing corruption throughout the tenure of the government. The president should be honest and do his job properly.

The interim CM of Punjab, Mohsin Naqvi, he presented his proven work at the end of interim regime. He seems to have actively worked towards progress in a well-organised way. That is absolutely acknowledged and appreciated abundantly. Bilawal Bhutto also presented his proven work in Sindh during election campain, following the establishment of hospitals and universities through his party. The trend towards proven work has started in Pakistan, more or less. That is the advent of a revolution in Pakistan.

All of the leaders, politicians, and their teams should be sincere with the nation. In addition to that, they should deliver, utilising their prowess, and resolve the issues altogether if they occasionally stumble across them as well. Besides, they shouldn’t be involved in creating circumstances of chaos, wrath, and backlash among the people due to the incompetence and corruption found in the elected leaders, politicians, and their teams every time in the past.
