Wake up, SPSC:

Besides FPSC, for the each province the constitution has provided for its own independent body tasked to sift the most competent candidates for the recruitment to the posts in various departments through the combined competitive exam in order that the efficient candidates left unqualified for the federal bureaucracy owning to the very meager vacancies against the various occupational groups in relation to the gigantic number of candidates appearing annually and to the dog eat dog competition in CSS, can be accommodated within their provinces.
The efficiency and the transparence of SPSC has unequivocally been under cloud with its performance below par as compared to the rest of the provincial service commissions. The crux and the apt instance of such ineptness and belatedness is the CCE the advertisement of which was published in September previous year but the almost year has slid by, but no movement of SPSC waking up from the state of hibernation and dormancy to heed the outcries of the candidates whose age is rapidly surging each day against the exam eligibility to recruit them under the fair and transparent procedure is likely to be in pipeline.
Further, a great deal of sensitive slots filled on the basis of nepotism, back stairs influence by the politicians and on the graft, slaughtering the meritocratic spirit, and dashing to the ground the high expectations and dreams of the deserving youth, are no longer obscure.
I call upon all the authorities concerned preponderantly Chief Justice and the President to bring to book all those at the bottom of decay efficacy and the current state of affairs of SPSC and to boot out the usurpative officials appointed illicitly without fair and proper channel in order to pave the way for the talented, qualified and deserving candidates to render their services for the melioration of the society.

Acrobatic Feats in Ramzan Transmission

Regrettably to write, the holy Ramzan, the month bringing boons for the Muslims to beg pardon for their sins committed throughout the year, and earn the satisfactoriness of God by spending the most of their time in worship, remembrance and supplication to God, as usual has brazenly been commoditized by the buffoons and so-called religious scholars together under the guise of religion solely for their self gains of minting penny.
Whenever one happens to switch T.V on, the acrobats and self-proclaimed religious scholars sitting with unveiled women having put on brobdingnagian makeup on their faces and dressed up immodestly appear not to uphold the sanctity of the holy month even one iota by turning the sacred moments of Iftar and Sahar people miss out owning to their rapt engrossment in the TV shows and which otherwise deserve to be fully benefitted from in winning God’s mercy, into a circus, Neelam Ghar and commoditization.
What matter most are not sap-headed TV hosts ostensibly so reacting as to be well versed in Islamic knowledge, but are the Ulemas, the guardians of faith, seen on air endorsing the breach of norms by the scholar-hosts by being part of such indecorous carnival projecting the Muslims unfavorably.
My humblest solicitation to them is to For Heaven’s sake, be cognizant of the onus on your shoulder, or else we will be compelled to cry: “ In the morning, devotions…” I shall not quote it full. (Zuhad Aur Rindi; Allma Iqbal)
