As a clerk you will be asked to perform various tasks which will help you gain valuable experience. For example in RTO, if you learn how to file tax returns then you generate external sources of income and FBR in general has excellent future benefits since it has one of the widest departmental range in Pakistan, and after a few years you can even transfer yourself to Investigation & Intelligence or even Customs with the help of a little 'sifarish'.

Even most CSS aspirants target IRS since it sits highly in group list in terms of influence & career growth.

NOTE : " I know a few FBR IR and Customs Appraisement Clerks who own properties in DHA & BAHRIA " tn meri nazar mah khilai pilai ki koi kami nahi iss dept. mah.

At the time of interview of assistant they did not take photocopies of our documents , domicile etc. then how they will recheck our documents or domicile.?? only original documents were checked, wo bi formality hi pori ki thi!
